Chapter 20

1 month later

Jimin felt someone poking his cheek, but he ignored it. But then the poking went down to his chest, but he still ignored it, and it went down again to his stomach.

He mentally smirked as he thought that if ignored it enought it'll eventually go down to his ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

"Jimin~"

Jisoo called still poking Jimin's stomach, but he still has his eyes closed.

"If you think I'm gonna go down further then you're absolutely wrong,"

Jisoo said and continued poking, but Jimin remained stubborn.

"If you don't wake up right now, no kisses for 2 months,"

As Jimin heard what came out of Jisoo's mouth, his eyes shot wide open as if he was not asleep at all. But then his body immediately neglected him and sent signals that he is indeed still sleepy, he looked at the clock and saw that it was still 1 in the morning.

"Honey~ what might you want this early in the morning?"

Jimin asked with his raspy husky morning voice. In the dark, Jimin saw Jisoo pout which made him chuckle.

"I, I want a strawberry shortcake,"

Jisoo said which startled Jimin, it's 1 in the morning and there's nothing open anywhere in Ika. He sighed and touched Jisoo's hand and rubbed it.

"But honey, there are currently no shops open at this hour,"

He explained sweetly, Jisoo just looked him straight in the eye and gave him a cute little glare.

"How do you know that if you don't check? I want my strawberry shortcake,"

Jisoo said grumpily, Jimin just sighed and thought that she was probably craving since she's pregnant. They haven't confirmed her pregnancy yet, but the thought of it just made him smile, the thought of being a father sounded really good to him. He then kissed Jisoo's cheek and got up, he put on a coat and went to Jisoo again.

"Wait it here ok? I'll bring you and our baby your strawberry shortcake,"

Jimin said sweetly as he gave Jisoo a sweet smile and kissed her forehead. He then headed outside with his motorcycle, he went all around the city and as expected, there were no shops open at that hour, he then sighed  and thought that he probably have to go to Delmore to buy a strawberry shortcake. He went to the exit of Ika that leads to Delmore, but as he did, he saw a shadow already ahead of him, it made his eyebrows furrowed and he thought that it might be a spy and that he needed to kill that person before things gets leaked and nasty.

He followed the figure he saw but as it turned to a corner, it disappeared, he tried looking for the person but couldn't find anyone, he just let it go and focused on his wife and his future child but somewhere deep in his thoughts he was wary of the dangers of letting that person go, but he shrugged it off as it was probably nothing. But little did he know that, that was one of the biggest mistakes he could ever do.

He wondered around Delmore with his hood on and finally came across a pastry shop, he went in and ordered a whole circle of strawberry shortcake. Then he walked outside, as he was walking home, he could feel that he was being followed, he turned to a corner and hid, and when the pursuer came to turn to the same corner Jimin knocked the person out and saw that it was a man. He carried the guy all the way to Ika and dropped him off to the interrogation office where he woulf be asked questions.

Then Jimin returned to his house where he saw Jisoo sitting on the couch waiting for him. He walked closely to Jisoo only to see her with a grumpy expression, he kissed her cheek but she still has her grumpy expression on.

"Look I got you a whole cake!"

Jimin said smilling as he raised the bag of strawberry shortcake and showed it to Jisoo. Just like that, Jisoo's expression changed to a cheerful one. Jimin then set the cake of the table and took a slice and put it on Jisoo's plate

"Hey, tomorrow let's have you checked?"

Jimin said smilling to himself, Jisoo just nodded and was about to take a bite out of her slice of cake when she stopped midway.

"Is something the matter?"

Jimin asked clearly worried, Jisoo then placed her spoon on the table and began to whine. Jimin was confused and went near her to hug her.

"What's wro-"

"I want a chocolate cake now, I don't want this strawberry shortcake anymore!"

Jisoo whine thay interrupted Jimin's sentence. As Jimin heard what Jisoo said, his eyes widened and all he could do was sigh and go out again to buy another cake.

-Next Morning-

Jimin was nervously waiting outside for the results of Jisoo's check up, he couldn't stay still so he was moving around aimlessly all the time. Then, the doctor came out with Jisoo, Jimin then stood up immediately and looked at the doctor intensely.

"Congratulations, she is pregnant,"

The doctor said cheerfully, Jimin couldn't believe his ears and so he rushed to Jisoo and picked her uo and spinned around due to his happiness.

"I'm gonna become a father!"

Jimin exclaimed with tears in his eyes.
