Jisoo was walking around Delmore with Jimin, but this time they were cautious so they were wearing glasses and Jimin made Jisoo wear a wig, since Jisoo was all over the news and bulletin boards as a missing person.
They were taking a stroll since Jimin thought that it would be good for their baby. Suddenly, Jisoo started craving for some chocolate pastry, so, she tugged on Jimin's shirt to gain his attention and it worked, he looked at her with caring eyes and a smile
"I want a chocolate pastry,"
Jisoo said while pouting, Jimin sighed and realized that the nearest pastry shop is wuite far and he didn't want to exhaust Jisoo too much and so, he led her to a bench where he let her sit, he went on his knee and leveled Jisoo's eyes
"Stay here ok? Don't, I repeat DON'T make any contact with anyone, remember you are missing here, they shouldn't see or even recognize you,"
Jimin reminded Jisoo of the importance of not interacting with anyone as long as they are outside Ika. Jisoo nodded and watched as Jimin's figure disappeared from her line of vision.
A couple of minutes passed and Jimin wasn't back yet, Jisoo was getting really bored and irritated of waiting for the chocolate pastry that she's craving badly. She thought she would kill her boredom by looking around and made sure not to wander off too far from the bench where Jimin left her. She stood up and walked making sure that the bench is still in her line of vision and looked around.
As Jisoo was looking around, she got too distracted and didn't notice the middle aged woman carrying a lot of bags infront of her, she bumped into her which made her fall and the woman's bags fell on the ground as well.
"Oh no I'm so sorry,"
Jisoo said as she stood up and helped the woman pick up her bags
"It's fine,"
The woman said nicely, as Jisoo heard her voice she sensed that the woman was vey caring and nice, she saw how many bags the woman was carrying and she wanted to help.
"Here let me help,"
Jisoo said and took more than half of the bags from the woman
"Oh no you don't have to, my house is just right around the corner,"
The woman said trying to take back the bags from Jisoo but Jisoo insisted
"A better reason to help, since it's near, let me just help,"
Jisoo said and smiled, they started to walk towards the womans house and Jisoo was humming happily to herself.
"Young lady, you sure seem happy,"
The woman said to Jisoo, Jisoo nodded at her statement and smiled
"You see, I'm carrying a child right now,"
Jisoo said with a proud and wide smile on her face, not using the word "little companion" instead, using the word Jimin thought him, the lady also smiled happily with her
"Normally, having a child here is only for businesses, but you sure seem happy about your child, are you perhaps not from here?"
The woman said and Jisoo just nodded
"You are a lucky one, to have not been born here in Delmore,"
The woman said, they stopped infront of a house, an average looking one, the woman opened the door and let Jisoo in, but when Jisoo stepped in, her stomach started aching, the pain was unbearable, she dropped the bags on the floor and at the same time she fell down to the ground as she was screaming in pain.
The woman didn't panic seeing this, she helped Jisoo up and helped her sit on a chair, the woman then started caring for Jisoo, but she fainted before she could know what the woman was doing.
Jisoo woke up and saw the woman infront of her, she touched her stomach and realized the pain was gone
"Tha-thank you,"
Jisoo said and the woman just smiled at her
"Are you living alone in this house? Do you not have any children?"
Jisoo asked and the woman's face showed sadness, ut was clear that she had remembered something sad, Jisoo noticed this and she was about to apologize but the woman talked
"Well, I used to have a lovely little companion that is what they refer to it now here, but back in my days, we also call them our children. He was a lovely little boy, he was the kindest, and the most thoughtful child one could have,"
"But what do you mean by used to? Where is he now?"
Jisoo asked, tears unknowingly fell from the woman's eyes
"He's long gone,"
The woman said and showed a bitter smile, Jisoo covered her mouth and said
"Oh I apologize I shouldn't have asked,"
"No it's fine,"
The woman said
"What was his name?"
Jisoo asked trying to lift the woman's mood
"His name was Jimin,"
The woman said that made Jisoo's eyes go wide, but she thought that there are probably other Jimins in Delmore
"Uh so, what is your name?"
Jisoo asked trying to identify the woman's son's surname
"I'm Park- I mean, I'm Im Nayeon,"
The lady said that left Jisoo shocked
"Im Nayeon? But that's- she's-"
