"Welcome To Delmore"
The big sign welcomed me as I arrived back home, I honestly don't miss this place, everyone looks so happy with their families, but there is something that everyone lacks, and that is the word love
What really is love? How does it feel like?
I've been studying in a place called Shuyen but I was only allowed to stay there for 2 months and Here I am Back at Delmore, Shuyen is pretty far from Delmore
That place is like the opposite of Delmore, it's where I learned the word love, which is illegal in Delmore, and they don't teach or speak about love here because anyone who defies the number one rule of Delmore...

"That guy just said he Loves me!"
A girl shouted pointing at a man on his knees

He said on his knees, I was just standing there watching...

The girl screamed, and there, I watched in horror as the man just froze and fell on the ground bleeding, the shot wasn't even heard, there was no bang...

The girl said and slightly kicked the dead man's body, I was so horrified and I just decided to go home and see my mom and dad
When I arrived at home I opened the door and I saw my parents on the dining table holding news papers
"Hello mother, Hello father"
I greeted them, but I didn't get a response, well, I didn't think I would, they were always so serious and never gave me any affection, I never felt love...
Not even from my own parents
I heard from Shuyen that parents really love and cherish their little companions, but in my case, it's the opposite, my parents gave me everything I ever wanted, but they never cared about me...
"Honey..."
My mother called
"Yes Mother?"
I said and went near them and sat on one of the chairs in the dining area
"You know you're turning 20 soon and you should get yourself a partner and a little companion"
My mother said, It's typical in Delmore to get yourself a partner when you turn 20, I learned in Shuyen that a partner is a husband/wife and a little companion is called kids/children of your own
In Shuyen, they can choose anyone as long as they love each other, but in Delmore, we choose them to be partners for business, and make little companions so they can be our heirs

My mother said still reading the news paper, I can't even choose my partner, yes, it's one of the rules in Delmore, people that'll get a partner can't choose which partner they like
I just stood up, went upstairs, went in my room and threw myself on my bed thinking...
