So this is something I struggle with quite a lot. For y'all who don't know platonic BDSM relationships are when you don't have romantic feelings for the person. Your relationship is purely sexual but still mutually beneficial.
Rn I'm struggling to find my place with all this. After a year of a romantic and sexual bdsm relationship it's hard to go into another and not develop feelings.
Today I fucked up a bit with my new Sub and unfortunately he was very upset and I felt like crap. The reason I fucked up was because I developed feelings for him and that got in the way of our play.
I can't say 'don't catch feelings for your sub/dom' because sometimes (depending on the people) romantic feelings can really help and develop these connections.
However, Forcing yourself to be a lil heartless is brutal but sometimes for the best. Tonight my sub called me a 'distraction' but I'm a grown woman and in so many relationships my soul purpose was to be a distraction. But because of those pesky little feelings I actually got hurt.
This transition from a serious to a casual relationship is always hard and I would love to hear about your experiences. ( even the vanilla ones)
