I tap my pencil against my notebook in boredom as I listen to the teacher go on about the history of all supernaturals. It was stuff I already knew , that's the perks of homeschooling with a prodigy such as my papa.
I also had a hard time listening in because I felt two pairs of eyes burning a hole into the back of my head, but every time I turned around it seemed everyone was invested into their books.
I had already finished the homework for the next two nights so I was set, the feeling of eyes staring at me became evident once again so I look around and see the cold grey steel eyes staring back at me.
Stefano was looking dead at me with such intensity a shiver ran down my spine and I couldn't tell if it was good or bad.
I quickly avert my gaze and heat creeps it's way into my face until a nice faint blush covers both my cheeks.
The bell gives a loud RINGGGGGGGG!!
Signaling that class is over I grab my staff and notebook then make my way out of class , Charlie catches up to me and puts his hand around my shoulder.
"Hey how was class?" He asks, I smile and say "Would've been enjoyable if I didn't already know everything that the teacher spoke about"
"Wow my best friends a smart-cookie can I borrow your homework for tonight?" He gives me his puppy dog eyes in an attempt to persuade me.
"No you have to do your own work but I'd be glad to help you" I tease , "Oh alittle study session?" He wiggles his eyebrows suggestively
"Not like that" I tell him and he laughs "I know I could never do anything to jeopardize our friendship especially because if I put this thang on you, you could never get enough" he swings his hips seductively and I bust out laughing.
"What's your next period?" He questions and I look at my schedule to see "GYM" in bold letters.
"Let's ehad there but first I have to tell you something about Gym" Charlie says and pulls me to the side of the hallway.
"Yea what is it" I tilt my head in confusion , "For new students like you, they are going to want you to "Prove Yourself" worthy of this school" he air quotes
"Gym isn't really what you think it might be it's just a place for everyone to hone their skills and powers, there are practice dummies for you to practice on, so when you go into gym expect to be initiated" he explains and I nod slightly.
"I understand" I say quietly then study my staff as I ponder how to prove myself, Charlie interrupts my thoughts "I know you'll do just fine, from what you told me you magic takes whatever form you want just create a spell" he smiles and grabs my hand taking me to the gym.
