Angel P.O.V
After Charlie yelled that we should quit multiple times before we become "Dragon Food" as he put it, we still won another match making us qualified for the rounds tomorrow and closer to the prize.
But so did Nikolai's team making everyone on edge, we currently were eating at a nice Chinese restaurant stuffing our faces. "All I'm saying is that you should have a spell in that massive spellbook of yours for killing a dragon" Charlie says in frustration.
"We have to defeat not kill him" I say while eating my fried rice, "Tomato Tomatoe" he says waving his head. He may be putting up a good facade but his eyes are very uneasy meaning he's very worried.
I am too it's pretty much up to me and Stefano to take down Nikolai in the end but the other problem is we have no idea what his teammates are, their names on board have "?" marks next to them.
I'm pretty sure that's not fair, regardless of how powerful Nikolai is.
"Angel, You. Me. Training. Be there" Stefano demands and I internally melt at his tone. The only thing I could muster was a subtle nod with a "Mhm" added onto it.
"Oooh guess someone's getting lucky tonight and by that I mean me. We you guys gone I get a room with Harry all alone" he winks and I blush at his bluntness.
"Okay...Ummm be safe?" I suggest but he just rolls his eyes at me "I live dangerously" he teases.
"Well well looks like we all are moving on to the next round may the best team win" Nikolai says as he approaches our table.
"I'm sorry but where did you just appear from" Kendra asks while Lola just stares blankly at Nikolai.
"We were here the whole time I just wanted to give my congrats and wish you luck while we were crossing paths" His fake smile was very evident but so was his accent it almost was intimidating.
He runs his hands through his blonde hair and waves as he retreats.
"Alright guys dinner is over with, time to train and then get ready for tomorrow" Stefano states while places a decent amount of money on the table.
"You. You're coming with me" Stefano grabs my hand leading me away from the others.
Lola, Charlie and Kendra give me a smug look while I'm carried off which I question but quickly shrug it off.
After a 10 minute walk we end up at the coliseums training room, a nice gentleman close to our age leads us to a room.
I thank him while Stefano just growls and we walk inside, it pretty much looked like the battlefield we are currently using for the tournament.
"Alright Angel it's just me and you I want you to go all out . We aren't leaving here till you're as destructive as you can be" He states and readies himself.
"I'm not going to hold back so you shouldn't either" He cracks his bones and takes a running stance.
I won't disappoint him or the team, I need to do this in order to beat Nikolai. "Cosmic Meteor Rain" I cast and a wide Portal opens above Stefano.
Quickly , Meteors covered in a blue fire crash down towards him but he just dodges and jumps on each one.
"Nice but nothing good enough to take down a dragon" He claims and his eyes turn black as fire surrounds his hands and he shoots a powerful blast at me.
I dodge and try to think of another spell, it's not as easy as it might seem. "Tick tock can't be this hesitant on the battlefield" he growls.
He runs at me full speed "Turbo-nuclear Angelic Blast" I shout my staff glows a bright tan hue as angel wings come out of it.
The light blinds me and Stefano he covers his eyes but quickly jumps back as the explosion lets off its so powerful I almost let go of my staff in the shockwave.
I open my eyes to find the battlefield completely covered in feathers and fire and embers danced around in the air.
Stefano stands there covered in burn marks, mouth agape. "Wow didn't know you had it in you" he growls and two wings come out of his back completely covered in Blackfire.
"Guess I have to take this seriously" he laughs and charges at me once again.
"No that spell should be good enough! Cotton Candy Fire Extinguisher" I shout and cotton candy shoots from my staff covering the whole battlefield.
"What the hell" he growls from above, "Oops too much" I chuckle and suck it all back into my staff , he falls directly on me.
I groan as his weight crushes me, "That was really fun" I choke out gasping for air. He gets off of me "Yea. training over." He says out of breath.
We both pile out of the room and head back towards the room, "Stefano what are you? Where did those wings come from?"
He exhales loudly "I'm not sure exactly what I am but I know that nobody else in my family is like me making it even harder trying to figure it out"
"At first everyone stayed away from me but once I got my fire under control, my father just saw it as a new way to rule over the pack"
I gasp "That's terrible he only saw you as a object to help him rule?"
"No. He loves me somewhere in there just in the intense training he forgot to include any of the love. My mother isn't around so it was rough but I lived" he finishes.
"I'm sorry no one should have to go through that but if you ever need someone to talk to I'll definitely be here for you! I mean if Harry's too busy to speak sometimes I'm A great substitute!" I smile
He looks at me in silence , I was about to ask him if he was alright but his arms quickly make their way around my tiny frame.
His head nuzzles into my neck making my heart nearly explode out of my chest as I hug him back, he pulls back and looks at me his eyes.
His eyes were on fire literally but the reason behind it I would never know.
"W-well we should get rest for tomorrow. Big day and all" I quickly get out and reach for the door handle but he stops me.
"We are sleeping in the girls room tonight" He says glaring at the door.
