"What are you doing here?" You asked as you saw him walk in. You were currently finishing Rangiku's paperwork with your Captain, Captain Histugaya, before leaving for the night.
"I must ask the same as my third seat, Lieutenant Abarai."
"I didn't know you were busy. Please forgive me, Captain Hitsugaya. I was wondering how much longer it'll be until Y/N here is finished with her work."
Toshiro gave it a moments thought, before saying, "She can leave now. She's done a great job today."
"Thank you so much, Captain!" You gasped at the compliment.
Toshiro nodded, sending you off for the night.
You stood, following Renji out. You looked up at your long time crush. You knew he most likely had a crush on Rukia, but you couldn't help but love him.
It was nighttime, the stars shining brightly in your E/C eyes. It was the perfect time for a confession.
"Renji, I need to tell you something. I've been in love with you," straight to the point.
Renji said nothing, before a goofy smile lit up his face.
He pressed his lips to yours, giving you a kiss.
"I love you too, Y/N."
