It's week 3 and we are rehearsing the group dance after pyramid, the group dance is entitled Thoughts and Prayers and it's about mass shootings and Lilly and I are the leads of the group dance, I even have a solo which I'm really happy about but I'm against GiaNina, Hannah and Brady and we're all in the same age category so the pressure is on for one of us to win this week.
We rehearsed the group dance before Miss Abby dismissed us for the solo rehearsals, She first rehearsed GiaNina's solo while Brady, Hannah and I were just sitting on the sidelines while we were drinking water out of our water bottles.
Hannah then rehearsed her solo and after she rehearsed her solo, Brady rehearsed his solo.
Third person's POV
Meanwhile with the moms...
Ann said to Trisha and Lola, Lola is Lauren's mom, "It seems like Abby is going to put more time into your kids solos more then my kids solo and GiaNina's solo" "Ann, It's Abby's choice, your kid probably will be getting the same time as Brady and Lauren, so don't think that because Brady and Lauren are amazing that they get more time on their solos then Hannah and GiaNina" Stacey then said "What's the point?, it's so obvious that Abby favours Brady and Lauren over the other kids, she doesn't even give them corrections at all" "So what?, Abby sees their mistakes" Lola said before Ashley said "They feel like Brady and Lauren are just getting handed everything" Stacey then said "Exactly and you two don't have to do anything for it" "They don't get handed everything, they work hard for what they get" Trisha said before Michelle said "Everything is handed to those two kids, I don't think we will time for four solos this week, maybe Lauren shouldn't be competing with a solo this week and she should just focus on being one of the leads of the group dances" Lauren then started her solo rehearsal while Lola said "No, they work hard and Lauren deserves to have a solo this week too, she can focus on being one of the leads of the group dance and having a solo this week too, she likes challenges like this" Joanne then said "You sit up here and you say that but if the group dance loses, it will be Lauren's fault as one of the leads or if she doesn't win with her solo, Abby wouldn't like that either" "Lauren can handle the pressure, she can handle doing both things this week"
Meanwhile in studio A....
Brady's POV
I watched the moms argue over Miss Abby picking Lauren and I as Miss Abby's favourites dancers on the team, Miss Abby watched them too before Lauren watched too, I then saw that she was about to cry, Miss Abby then said to us "You two are dismissed for today, go join the others in the dancers den before class" We then left the room, I then said to her "Hey, are you okay?" "No, I'm not" Lauren then started to cry and I rushed to hug her, She hugged back before she said to me, "Brady, thank you" "It's okay" I then kissed her forehead, she then looked up at me and I said to her "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that" "It's okay, I'm fine with it" "You are?" "Yeah, besides you are cute" "Wait what?!?!" I felt my cheeks start to blush, oh no, Brady don't do that in front of your crush, "I'm saying that I like you, Brady" "I like you too, Lauren" Lauren then pushed me against the wall and she kissed me and I kissed back while my hands went to her waist, we then stopped kissing and I said to her "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" "Yes, Brady, I do"
Lauren's POV
Time skip to competition day...
We walked into our dressing room and we got ready for our solos, GiaNina was saying horrible things about her solo before Miss Abby came into the room, Miss Abby then told GiaNina off when she found out what GiaNina said about her choreography and her solo after she gave us a pep talk and then GiaNina was crying as we left the dressing room and Miss Abby yelled at her for crying and acting like a brat before we went side stage.
Brady's POV
I went first performing my solo
Hannah went next
GiaNina went next
Lauren went next
When Lauren finished performing her solo and she got off stage, I grabbed a bottle of water for her and she drank out of it while I said to her "Good job" "Thank you" I then kissed her on the forehead before we went back to the dressing room and we got ready for the group dance.
We then performed the group dance
It was then time for the awards ceremony
Time skip to after awards...
Lauren and I both won first place with our solos, Hannah came second and GiaNina was fourth, we got back to the dressing room and Miss Abby congratulated Lauren and I on our solos winning today, she was also happy that Hannah got second but she was still mad at GiaNina for her behaviour today.
We got back on the bus after we got changed out of the group dance costumes and we packed our stuff up, Lauren and I sat down next to each other and we hold hands as the bus starts to bring us back to Pittsburgh and she rested her head under my chin and we went to sleep.
