The forgotten gem

Chapter 3

Unfortunately, a gem named Moonstone, moon for short, saw me shatter Amber. She ran at me, but couldn't bring herself to shatter me. Moon lifted me by my throat and pulled my glove off my hand. She put the tip of her dagger on the middle of my gem. She pushed down a little bit, making a small crack in my gem. I screamed in pain. She was going to further, but instead she looked at me. When she spoke, her eyes lit up with rage,
"Fortunately for you, I'm not a cold-blooded traitor."

After speaking these words, she used all of her strength to throw me off the planet. I looked at her hurt, as I hurdled out of the atmosphere. Suddenly, she was stabbed in the back by a homeworld gem. This gem was a Ruby with its gem in its eye.

Unfortunately, I never got to see how or even if, the war had ended. To my best knowledge, the war was a stalemate.

A/N: Sorry for such a short chapter. The next things I had in mind wouldn't fit in with the theme of this chapter.
