The pups were just introduced to their new friend Rex and decided to leave the dino wild and bring him over to the lookout where the invited their other friends tracker and Everest all the pups were really excited well almost all of them

"Chase Chase where are you you're going to miss the party"

"Oh Ryder"

"Chase what are you doing over here you should go out and socialize some more after all you saved him you should be proud of yourself"

"I'm happy he's okay but do you really think that's a good idea and bring him into this pretty dangerous group I mean he's already hurt I don't want Taylor to be sad if he gets any more hurt I just don't think it's a good idea"

"look I understand that you're worried for them but ever since we started this all you've never thinking about is how dangerous it is, but you have to admit having more paws on Deck is a better option then you trying to do everything by yourself"

"Whatever honestly don't care go ahead and have the party I'm not going"

And with that chase ran off into adventure Bay he saw all the people that he wouldn normally see their, Alex and, Mr Porter he saw Julius and, Julia, and they saw Mayor goodway with her chicken chickaletta and the more he watched those families the more hurt in the more distraught he became

"they all have small families what's less heartbreak if something were to happen to them unlike me"

"Come on Chase keep up your so slow"

"No fair Swift you're faster than me"

"Hey no complaining you do that with armor"

"It's not my fault, you know full well I'm the youngest out of all of us plus he's stronger than me"

"All come on Chase that may be true but there's something you're better than me and Swift at"

"You're the smartest out of all of us you're the only one who's been able to solve puzzles and riddles that Mom and Dad leave out for us you're way smarter than any pup your age any pup at all be honest and don't forget that"

"Are you sure there are other pups we smarter than me"

"Oh where sure we're sure you're our little brother and even if there are pups that are smarter than you we always believe that you're the smartest one of all"

"Thanks Swift, armor you're the best big brothers I could ask for"

"Hey Ryder"

"Yeah Rocky what's wrong"

"Have you seen Chase anywhere"

"No sorry did you need him"

as they were talking Chase just started walking up back to the lookout and just before he could say something he heard Rocky talking again

"oh great he's bailing out on me again he said he would help me out with my pup pack and some of my inventions but the little coward always wants to run away"

"Rocky how could you say that about him you do realize you were just like him way before we found you right"

"Why does he always have to leave us behind if he's called on to do a mission he always takes charge me never wants our help"

"Chase has always been like that and I don't blame him after what happened with his family-"

And with that he walked away angry

*I was right these pups are nothing but trouble at least I have Ryder he's the only reason why I I'm even still here because of our promise*

He opened up his locket again to see his friends smiling face

"What's up with Chase, Rocky"

"I made him mad again rubble you're close to him do you think you could know I don't know help me figure out what I'm doing to make him so angry"

"honestly I don't know he's never really angry when it comes to me I'll go talk to him"

"Don't bother it's probably somewhere moping like he always does"

"Sky that's mean Chase has done a lot to help us how could you guys say those things"

"It's the truth though he's always been mean to us no matter how nice we are to him honestly I'm starting to think he doesn't care" Marshall cutting rather rudely

"and what if Ryder heard you say these things Chase number one and we should support him"

"And so what like a we Care, he never cared about us"

"I agree with Zuma why should we care about how he feels"

"BECAUSE IT'S NOT TRUE AND YOU WILL KNOW IT HE'S HELPED US TIME AND TIME AGAIN AND IF HE DIDN'T WE PROBABLY BE DEAD BY NOW SO YOU SHOULD BE GRATEFUL THAT HE'S EVEN WILLING TO HELP SUCH AWFUL FRIEND LIKE YOU"

It wasn't just rubble who screamed this it was Tracker, Everest, and Rex too

"Chase has done so much to help us could you all say such awful things that's it we're leaving" Rex yelled

"Sí I agree I don't want to be around you pups anymore not until you apologize to my amigó"

"Jake let's go home"

and with that each pup left their owners ask them what's going on and they didn't explain until they got there, as for Ryder he was just as mad

"What were you pups thinking"

"We're sorry we just had to let them know that's how we really feel"

"Listen I understand that you're mad at Chase but still what if he heard that you do realize that could have hurt him badly"

"I agree with Rdyer you guys haven't even told me about the time he saved each and everyone of you"

"That's something I don't want to talk about at least not today"

"Why not Rocky you to Marshall you said that he saved you from a burning building right or maybe I'm thinking about it wrong the point is is Chase saved you all and this is how you treat him! I look up to chase because he saved me and you guys are just so awful"

Rubble ran out crying by this time it's already night he was nowhere to be seen all the other pups went back to bed worried about their friends and thinking about how they could apologize to chase if he was hurt

"I better make it back to the lookout they're probably looking for me"

"Ouch"

"Oh I'm sorry he must have tripped"

Rubble looked up at the person he was helping only two have those look of shock and worry on his face

"Chase is that you"

"Yeah what are you doing out here late at night"

"Never mind me what are you doing out here and with your pup pack"

"I'm leaving and I'm not coming back"
