Me and the pups walked into the lookout tower and I opened up a secret panel revealing my diary and all the crazy things that's been happening between me and Chase way before any of the paw Patrol events happened to begin with

"Ryder why have you been hiding this from us what's going on"

All the pups asked me this question all I could do was sigh and answer them

"This journal here will explain why Chase can't feel love and why he can't understand it"

The pups all looked at me confused except Rubble he looked more worried than ever, so I told him to sit down. Jake and Everest came and so did Carlos Tracker, they knew this day would be coming since they knew Chase the most, well Jake and Carlos, The other pups need an explanation and I plan to give it to them.

"So dude you're finally going to tell them"

"Yeah you haven't told Everest or tracker yet have you"

"Nope trust me I know how to keep a secret not even Katie's told Callie I think it's about time we told them though"

"Ryder tell us what what's going on" Rubble asked on the verge of tears

"Sit down pay attention and I'll tell you"

It's been a whole year since we got here to adventure Bay I made chase a special pup pack that allows him to play music and he's been listening to quite a lot of it since he never really leaves the house which is kind of weird.

One day out of the blue Chase asks me a question

" Hey Ryder you never answered my question I asked you around a year ago before we even got here"

*Dang this pup's got a real good memory he can remember all the way back then I chose a good pup*

"Really what was that question"

"What's a crush"

"Oh that question I didn't think it would be a whole year since I've answered it"

"You've never answered that question you keep avoiding it, what is a crush"

"Oh you're serious you don't know what a crush is well that's when you like someone a lot so much so that your heart speeds up when they're around you get flustered and you can't speak when you're around them you like them a lot and you want to keep them safe and make them happy"

"That's not a really good explanation but thanks anyway if only I can find someone like that"

I was worried for a moment I thought he actually didn't know what a crush was I started laughing on the inside but, the serious look on Chase's face made me think differently he honestly doesn't know what a crush! Is this makes me wonder....

What else does this pup not know!

I've started to notice that over the days we've been here chases made a lot of new friends but when I asked him about it he just gives me the same answer

"What's a friend?"

the first two times he said that I laughed on the inside but after the third time he said it it made me concerned he was lying to me so I decided to ask him

"Hey Chase you know how I keep asking you about your friends that you make around adventure Bay why do you keep telling me or asking me 'what's a friend'?
