After what happened a week ago about me learning that my emotions can help me control the element I want I decided to test out one of the more harder elements gravity and blood

"I can understand you trying out gravity but are you sure you want to try out blood that involves a lot of concentration and one of the more dangerous emotions"

"Yeah come on Marinette I really want to try this these two will be important to me when I keep going after all I am on the run I have time"

"Okay but in order to control blood you need to master gravity I'll help you with that first"

Marinette taught me that gravity is all about the rotational pull of the object and your thoughts you need to keep a clear head if you want to control the gravity of a certain thing or multiple things she showed me that she can control five boulders all while keeping her eyes closed meanwhile I can only control one before it falls

"Okay you can hold up one Boulder for 15 seconds that's good it's much better than when I first tried gravity I couldn't even lift a boulder keep on trying that and try to hold it for more increase the time by 10 seconds I'll come back later I have something I need to talk to Ali about"

She left me there for a bit I kept struggling to keep that Boulder lifted for more than 15 seconds and every time I tried all I can think about was my friends back at home or the friends I used to have like Alex Mr Porter Katie and not to mention Ryder

"I got to push them out remember keep a clear head"

'oh come on Chasey you know who I am'

"you how exactly are you able to talk to me I pushed you out years ago"

'the more you push your good memories out the more I'll come back it's only a matter of time before you break'

Not him again my dark side the side of me that I never wanted to come back but he's right I can't keep pushing out what makes me upset otherwise he'll just feed off that what can I do

"Aaliyah what do you mean balance of what"

"You're fighting with the dark side of yourself I've been watching in order for you to master gravity you need to have emotional control and you need to stay in balance with the darkness that roams inside of you otherwise bad things could happen"

"I understand emotional control but balance with my inner darkness how"

"Tell me when did you first get this inner darkness"

"The day my family died trying to protect me I felt so weak so helpless I couldn't save any of them"

"okay then you keep thinking about the negative of that situation but is there anything positive that happened before your family died"

Now that she mentioned it there was my first birthday where I finally learned how to talk it was the best day ever

Flashback

A long while ago before I met Ryder I had a family I had two other brothers named armor and Swift and they were the best I looked up to Swift the most since he was the fastest armor taught me how to stay strong physically and mentally and on my first birthday things changed for all of us

"Hey arm do you think Chase will finally learn how to talk"

"I don't know Swifty it is his first birthday usually pups around that age would finally be able to talk we started talking way ahead of that he's kind of a late bloomer"

most pups are able to talk right off the bat others around when they're three to four months old this is the first time a pup was turning one and they still haven't been able to talk my parents were worried about me worried that I would never be able to talk

"Let me go talk to him let's see if he'll remember me"

I was playing with my favorite chew toy when my older brother Swift walked in the room I was so happy to see him I almost tackled him running around and barking like crazy

"So you do remember me that's good and now if only I can help you learn your first word what's a word that's easy for a pup like you"

He started talking simple words but I didn't pay attention I was too busy trying to play then my other brother armor came in and started saying a lot of stuff I don't remember everything but there was something I did remember something that changed my life

"Try saying this 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' five times fast"

"Oh come on dude that word's so long not even I can say it that many times"

"Supercala.. fragilistic.. expialidocious"

my brother's turned around and shocked they kept asking me over and over again to repeat what I said but I didn't it wasn't until I blew up my candles at my birthday party that I said it again but this time more clear

"Uh uh supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"

"where'd he learn a word like that it's so long not even we could say it correctly on our first time"

"That's our Chase the smartest of the litter" my brother's cheered everyone was so happy I finally said something one of the hardest words a pup so young could ever say I love that day cuz it showed that my parents loved me not just because we're family but because I was the smart pup they knew I could be

End a flashback

"And that's what happened to this day I'll always be grateful to my brothers for helping me learn such a word"

I rubbed my eyes cuz I was crying just by remembering that and I looked up I realized I was floating everything all the rocks the water even all the herself I realized that I was floating everything without even noticing she congratulated me for mastering gravity so quickly and next up was blood I had tried all the other elements and they were really easy to master once you get a hold of your emotions but the one group of elements she cleaned were impossible to master was blood the sun and Moon

"I have to go I've barged in on you guys long enough I think it's a good time for me to leave I'll practice what you guys taught me when it comes to controlling blood sun and moon and one day I'll come back thank you for all you've done but I think it's time for me to keep moving"

they were sad to see me go especially considering I haven't mastered everything and I still have a hard time controlling thunder and electricity so they got worried for me but they sent me on my way anyway all I went to find somewhere new somewhere I could practice these new powers it was thanks to all this that I learned how to control the mighty pup Powers as well and how to control my emotions

Aaliyah Pov

"So then Marinette why didn't you tell him"

"Tell him about our family not yet he's still selling mature he wouldn't be able to handle the news I'll follow him making sure that he's okay besides someone else has been watching over him this whole time and I'm not the only one who knows about his dark side"

and to her words she left following him I went back inside and poured me a cup of tea

"Marinette you need to tell him.... you need to tell Chase... he deserves to know-"
