Chase Pov

it was getting closer and closer to the full moon and I remember something the great alpha told me to do, he wanted to meet me

*Okay time to see what the great alpha wants*

'just don't mess it up this time little narwhal'

*What's with that insult*

'Because you got a big forehead'

*Hahaha hilarious idiot* I said to him rather sarcastically him and his dumb insults are getting old.

I walked up to the great alphas then only to realize that there was another way in it led from a forest I went through that opening and tried to find him, it was so beautiful

"There you are Chase I'm glad to see that you were able to join me" I heard his voice I looked in front of me and he was sitting on a rock staring up at the full moon

"Sir, if this is about what I said this morning, then can I explain"

"there's no need to explain. I understand your feelings, I was honestly hoping you would say something like that, for my other wolves needed to learn"

I was kind of relieved that he didn't get frustrated at me but then he said something to me that would change everything

"I know you want to leave but can you do something for me, something really important, he would enjoy it"

"Who would enjoy it sir"

"Why the little Omega who's always clinging to you"

Alpha Pov

I saw Chase leave our den confused I decided to follow him and noticed that he went to go see the great alpha

*Oh no Chase going to be in trouble*

I followed him waiting for the right moment to help him and defend his honor if I'm being honest he was the best friend to me he was so kind and he understood my sadness and loneliness I wanted to repay him

*Okay there's nothing wrong just go up to the Great alpha alone and take Chase punishment, he didn't do anything wrong!*

But then he said something I was honestly shocked he would propose something like this

Chase Pov

"so let me get this straight you want me to take Alpha with me on my journey"

"yes I do he seems to really enjoy your presents, and I believe he might be able to help you... with your problem"

"Problem I don't got a-"

"Your inability to feel love or even understand the concept of it. Don't think I've never heard of The legend. I was waiting for someone like you to come and you're finally here"

He knew, he knew this whole time and didn't even tell me

"You're going to need someone to help you control that balled up anger inside of you to control your wolf powers" he explained

"Do you really think I could be the one to help him" I recognize that voice anywhere it was alpha

"You followed me here" I yelled kind of shocked that he would do this

"I'm sorry I thought you were get in trouble I didn't think this would happen" he explained rather scared and worried

I looked at the face he made and I recognized it anywhere it's the same face Rubble makes every time when he's sad at least that's what he tells me

*Sadness it's such a strange emotion*

"Also I wish for you to take this"

He gave us a strange brown bag I opened it just a little to reveal a bunch of weird glowing seeds inside

"These are guardian flower seeds. Take one and eat it for yourself, then inside your heart a flower will grow, and once it blooms you'll be able to get a guardian. It will watch over you and help you along the way. The little ones are adorable, but they also require special care. Give one to each of your teammates Chase for your going to need them"

I thanked him for the bag and decided to go he let us to an opening in a field where I then saw my other partner

"Chase. Chase is that you"

"Hikari thank God you're okay"

She was so bright beaming from ear to ear and that's when she noticed there was a wolf standing right behind me

She growled deeply in defense and I don't blame her they were the ones who kidnapped me first, in alpha started whimpering scared and hid behind me so I knew it was my turn to say something

"Whoa whoa whoa, it's okay he's good"

"He is?" She questioned as she stopped growling and stood up and the less hostile position

"Yep this is a wolf he's an Omega and his name's alpha"

"A wolf named alpha but you're an Omega that's a little confusing I know why don't we change your name"

He was hesitant at first but looked over at me and said "okay but Chase gets to choose" after that I was shocked I thought he was going to choose his own name

*A new name for a wolf huh... hold on, I think I know a good one*

"How about Griffin it means strength"

"Are you sure, I mean I'm not strong at all"

"Maybe not physically, but you are mentally and emotionally. You helped me control my anger with those other wolves. I think it's a good name for you what do you think" I say this as I put my power on his shoulder

He looked at me and looked down, and immediately started crying, but I could tell what kind of tears these were. I may not understand sadness but, I've seen this happen before an adventure Bay

These were obviously tears of joy

"I love it! I really love it!"

"I love it too it's a great name for such an adorable little wolf pup" Hikari said as bright as ever

"All right then it's settled you're no longer alpha. Instead your name Will mean strength, welcome to the club... Griffin" I said

They were both happy and cheering as loud as can be but me I still couldn't feel the happiness they were feeling I smiled yeah but it wasn't real happiness at least that's what I thought but my heart started to hurt and I felt a warm sensation going through it

*What's going on? I've never felt this before, could it be that I'm actually feeling...... happy... for the first time*
