Chapter 66

"I'm planning to make some for Otousama and Brent-chan,  why? "

I asnwered Jeremy who just asked if there's someone I'm giving chocolates to this Valentine's. We are currently at the cram school and since we heard the girls in class talked about Valentine's, the 3 idiots came to me asking about giving chocolates.

"Ehh?  You're not giving some to anyone other than them? " Asked Jeremy again. 

I raised my brows "Like who? " Jeremy just shrugged his shoulder.

"Oh.  Ah,  who's Brent-chan anyways? " Jeremy once again asked. 

"My cute little brother hehe"

And speaking of Brent-chan.  He's gonna start his 1st grade in primary school next school opening fufu~ And I'm 100% certain that he's gonna be invited to be a part of Haute Monde as well.  Ahhh I just can't wait for that to happen. I can finally visit him and see if he can make friends or just how he'll act around the kids in his age keke~

In relation with the aforementioned matter,  in the novel,  when Brent-chan entered La'ssier,  Bettina was conflicted for some reason.  She didn't want to hate her brother for getting all the attention she longed for the longest time however,  she can't bring herself to like her little brother. She envied his intelligence for always being on top of his grades,  getting praised by their parents as well getting people's attention like what she always wanted.  And because of that,  Bettina grew distant with her brother and never really bothered about him and vice versa.  The Brentton of the noble grew up in a very strict way possible. He was way matured than the other kids of his age and thus he somewhat despised Bettina's childishness.  However,  Bettina was still after all,  his sister and decided to make her turn to a new leaf and start a new life after she was banished by their parents. Unfortunately, young as he was when that happened,  he wasn't able to do it well and thus decided to grow stronger so he could help Bettina.  But the faith was rather cruel and Bettina meet her end before Brent could even do something for her. 

Good thing now that our parents wasn't as strict as the Novel's with my interference and so,  Brent-chan who was supposed to be raised very strictly was able to get some leniency and wad able to grow up like a normal child does.

This feeling of fulfillment~

After the cram school, I had my chauffeur dropped me at the nearest shop to buy the necessary ingredients for my chocolates but after feeling unsatisfied by their items,  in the end,  I decided to buy it online and had it deliver in the mansion.   Well,  the Valentine's still the day after tomorrow so it doesn't really matter. 

The next day,  after going home from cram school I immediately changed my clothes and began making chocolates for Otousama and Brent-chan.  Never have I expected for Okaasama to ne joining me in making them.  I was surprised but nonetheless let her do as she please and there's this strange feeling inside me that I can't seem to figure out what.

And just when were in the middle of finalizing the cocolates we made,  Okaasama suddenly spoke.

"You'll be giving this to your Otousama and Brent-chan,  as well as Jacob-chan, am I right?  Betti-chan? "

Okaasama,  eversince that visit, started calling Maxwell-sama by his first name. I paused for a moment and looked at her frowning.  "Okaasama?  I only made 2 sets which are for Otousama and Brent-chan,  there's no way~"

Okaasama lifted the corners of her lips as she pointed to the set of chocolates she helped me made. And I frowned seeing that the originally 2 setsof chocolate turned 3 sets.

"Eh?  Why is.. " and just when I was about to ask,  I heard Okaasama chuckled and tapped my shoulder.

"I thought you have forgotten about Jacob-chan,  so I took the initiative to add another set. "

"Ehhh?  I'm not planning to give some though~"

"Why not?  Aren't you supposed to.."

"Okaasama~ It's not like what you think it is"

"My~ stop denying it already Betti-chan.   You're making it more obvious."

Ugh.

Okaasaaaaammaaaa!

I said we're not what you think you are!

And besides, Maxwell-sama already has Alice-sama so there's no way on earth that would happen!

But I can't possibly say those things for I don't want to get ahead of Maxwell-sama revealing the truth between him and Alice-sama.  I secretly cried in my heart while taking all the nonsense Okaasama kept on insisting. 

Ah mouh~

Why am I being so troubled for someone's lovelife huhu~

Tomorrow, after that session with Okaasama I immediately gave my self-made chocolates to Otousama and Brent-chan so I can hurry and leave the house.  I purposely left thse chocolates behind so that I can make some excuses later for why didn't I give the chocolates to Maxwell-sama but it seems like it's gonna be impossible. As soon as I was about to hop into the car, Okaasama came to quick as she can and handed the paper bag full of chocolates.

"Don't forget to hand this to Jacob-chan. You fill it with your love,  after all" she said smiling.

And so,  I was left with no choice but to bring it with me.  Arriving at La'ssier,  as usual,  girls are busy talking about the chocolates and the Valentine's. And for some reason,  some kids would take a quick glance towards my direction and then their gazes would fell on the paper bag I'm holding.

"It's for Lomiere-sama,  I'm certain"

"Oh come one,  haven't you heard about her and Steffan-sama? "

Some of the murmurs I actually heard. 

Are you guys murmuring or what?

It doesn't seem like it because I can hear it all clearly!
