it was alya, FINALLY

"hey als, who's your new friend this year?~" she teased, knowing the luck of her friend with the parners she gets over the past few years

"believe it or not, I got a devil. but this one is tiny" she giggled, marinette was wondering who could it possibly be 'rose maybe?' marinette asked herself

until she heard it

"MARINEEEETTE!" the voice screeched sweetly

"manon?!" marinette gasped "W-WHA?! HOW?!" she asked in pure shock

"long story short she did it to surprise Mrs. Chamack, anyways BAIIIII" alya said as she ended the call

"oh great, now i have three asses to beat" she chuckled

marinette and wayhem eventually got to the secret spot where adrien was located

the two were exaused, but once felix got a glimpse of adrien his exhaustion turned into inner excitement while marinette on the other hand wanted to leave and evaporate then and there

adrien looked quite gloomy but brightened up due to aurore screaming "AND HERE'S OUR WINNERS" right in his ear

originally he had to brighten up due to the fact that he had a name to uphold, but his smile became genuine when he caught a glimpse of the blue

although his face scrunched up once he saw the once brunette boy beside her, now blonde. he noticed the face

he quite hated the boy, he was even worse than chloe sometimes. he was quite shocked how he did'nt act the way he usually did when he was around him, he was calm and adrien actually got to know him

as wayhem and adrien were chatting marinette was on her phone texting alya, asking how the fuck did manon even register for this game

wayhem noticed how adrien stared at the blue with a tiny glimmer in his eye

"you really like her don't you?" wayhem asked looking the same direction he was "I can see why, I mean she's pretty and smart not to mention nice and hot, you don't find a girl like her on the streets. you have to earn that kind of lady" wayhem smiled at adrien softly "not to be rude bit i have to ask" he paused, adrien nodded in approval "peole don't feel sparks just because the other is hot or not" wayhem stated. "what's your point?" adrien asked eagerly "the question is.... why?" wayhem asked

"that's easy" adrien chuckled "she doesn't like me back" he said as he stared into the ceiling "she's fiesty, sassy and she has so much attitude that it makes me go crazy, sure there were girls like her before who tried to play hard to get but only lasted months, she lasted for three long years and her eyes still speak hatred for me" he sighed in happiness despite all he said, the thought of her mad her happy "she is unlike the other girls who try to get to me, a face filled with make-up and outfits that show too much. her, she could just wear a little bit of mascara and casual clothes and still look better than the rest"

"she doesn't fully hate you, you know?" wayhem asked, adrien stiffened as thi caught his interests "she trusts you, she hates your ego tho its the one thing about you that she wouldn't stop complaining about but personally i think she likes it"

adrien's heart fluttered as he heard what wayhem said 'did she really?' adrien asked himself

*ding* his phone chimed. he looked to see what it was and it was a text, a party invite from nino

he looked back at wayhem, who was looking someplace else when he said "wanna come with?" adrien invited

"where?" wayhem asked

"a party" as adrien said those words wayhem almost lost his cool, so excited to go to a party with his idol

after a few hours

marinette entered the party with felix asking him who the fuck he was paired with, felix honestly didn't want to recall such a horrible experience with said partner

the two were looking for alya cause marinette was dying to know what did she do to manon, knowing alya, she probably said a lot of shit to the child

but instead of finding the brunette they bumped into a certain someone

"YOU?!" felix groaned in annoyance

"the one and only" the boy said proudly as he spread his arms in confidence

"you two know each other?" marinette cofussly asked as she pointed to each boy back and fourth

felix knodded his head in defeat giving her a look that explained everything

marinette looed at felix in shock, then at the boy, then back at felix and suddenly started to laugh "no wonder you described him like you, BECAUSE HE ACTS EXACTLY LIKE YOU!"
