I wave at the camera again, and smile. "Heyya, today I'm going to sing one of my own songs, it's called Battle."
"Dark Lord, light Lord, this is a war, we can't afford. Lord of the light, prepare for a fight, ignore the soldiers fright, and stand up for what's right.
"Lord of the dark, you have got your mark, don't keep battling on, they have already won.
"People are dying, cities are frying, soldiers are scared,
But I don't think you've cared."You will feel guilt, when the towns that you've built, have crumbled to the ground, and left are no towns.
"People are dead, even ones who you cared, the light Lord has won, and you are alone.
"People were loyal, because you were royal, and you were so loved, but no problems are solved."
I end the chords and prepare to say goodbye.
"I know the song isn't finished, but it's all I've come up with. Hope you guys like it, and see you soon." I smile and wave, and then end the video.
Only the ones who make videos know how much work one video is behind. You first need an idea, then you need to have the time, the equipment, the patience, because filming in a scene takes more than one take. But I rehears my songs before I film them, so I don't need to film two times.
I edit the video, watch it, then send it on the web.
After five minutes I have one view.
Two days went, and it was weekend, and then at Sunday I saw I had 143 views, and I couldn't help but make a happy dance.
The Monday after, I went to school as usual.
Ms Byer talked about how numbers came up. Believe me, it was interesting, but I couldn't focus. I had got 143 views on four days! I couldn't be happier.
After math, I had gym, then chemistry. My chemistry teacher loves his classes, and though they are sometimes boring, they are still fact filled.
"Today I am going to show you the easiest way to make homemade ice cream." He then pair us up and show us.
"A glass of cream, or thick milk, a teaspoon of sugar, two plastic bags, icecubes and salt." He then said to put the cream and sugar in the first plastic bags, and then put ice and salt in the second. Then to put the first plastic bag into the second one, and shake it for fifteen minutes. When the cream is cold and icy, you eat it. Then you can also add flavours to the ice cream, but you decide.
I got paired up with Flynn McWill, one of the ego-boosted guys who thinks he can have any girl he likes. When we ate our ice cream out of our cups, he suddenly giggled - yes, giggled - and said,
"You've got ice cream on your lip." Then he removed the supposed ice cream with his thumb and then licked it. Then I continued to awkwardly eat my ice cream.
"You've got an amazing voice, you know." I looked up at Flynn, suddenly alarmed.
"What?"
"You've got an amazing voice."
"Wait - what?"
He sighs impatiently. "I said-"
"No, I heard. But you don't go in my music class."
"I know..."
"Then how do you know it? You've never heard me sing."
That's when the bell rings, signalling end of class, and also end of my answers.
I pack my things up, and Flynn smirks at me.
"Dark lord, light Lord, this is a war, we can't afford." Then he runs away.
"Oh my gosh."
He sang my song. How does he even know it's m- oh wait, I'm in the video. Of course he recognised me.
But if he knows, does anyone else know too?
