A/N, I finally finished it!!! Hope you enjoy. It's got a little bit of angst, but not much.

Peter loved Mother's Day. It was one of his favourite days in the year. He was very grateful he wasn't still kidnapped for it.

He'd formed the plan while in that cell with Maria, it kept him going. Imagining every detail of the day over and over kept him hopeful they would get out.

He knew everything to the second.

So why was he freaking out?

He had taken Morgan, Lila, Cooper, Nathaniel and Cassie out during the last month as "children time". Wanda had demanded to go with them and Peter wasn't about to deny the help. She'd ended up bored when he told her the truth, but stuck by him and helped the kids pick things out. He was aware Scott, Clint and Tony could have taken them, but it gave him an excuse to get out of the house and the three dads were happy to pass the duty off to someone else.

He, as the sweet boy he was, got all his aunt's some flowers and a small chocolate bar.

He'd gotten Maria a simple, silver keychain that had "bonus mum" written in cursive on it. The older woman preferred the minimalistic gifts like that - small, cute and practical. He was planning to get her favourite chocolate to go along with it and a sea poison tree in a plant pot - they were her favourite flower.

For Natasha, he went bigger. He made her a new set of throwing knives - black, with a black leather sheath to clip to her belt. On one of those knives was an engraved scene of a wolf protecting a cub, on another was two wolves protecting a cub and the last had two wolves protecting two cubs - a symbol of their family growing. On the flip side of each knife it had part of a quote. "A mother's arms" on the one with two wolves. "are more comforting" on the one with three. "than anyone else's" on the one with all four animals. And of course, like any reasonable person, got her favourite chocolate to go with it.

He had spent a lot of money and time in getting them and was terrified she wouldn't like it. Or that he hadn't done enough for Maria - despite spending almost the same on them both. Or that the day would go badly. But eventually he calmed down once Wanda slapped some sense into him.

They got up early the next day and set about making the two older women a nice breakfast in bed - the adults both usually woke up at five so Peter dragged Wanda into the kitchen at quarter past four in the morning. He bustled about grabbing ingredients for waffles (or muscly pancakes as he'd called them as a kid) while the witch dozed in her seat, head lay on her arms that rested on the marble counter. He also pulled out fruit and a knife to chop up into a fruit salad once they started cooking.

After half an hour Wanda woke up and helped him out by making fresh apple juice and coffee as well as chopping some of the fruit while Peter cooked the waffles and bacon. They were ready five minutes to five so hurried to Natasha and Maria bedroom, trays in hand.

The spies were just starting to get up when they walked in.
"Wait! Don't get out of bed!" Peter yelled causing the two mother's to startle and jump back into bed.
"What the hell Peter?!" Natasha yelled once she realised nothing was wrong.
"Happy Mother's day!" The teens both yelled and proudly held up the trays to show the adults.
"We made you breakfast in bed." Peter smiled innocently, excitedly holding the tray he was carrying in front of him and grinning like the Cheshire cat.
"Well, Peter made you breakfast in bed, I slept on the counter but potato potahto." Wanda giggled, handing her tray to Maria. "We also cleared your day so you can relax, if that's okay of course?"
"That's perfect, thank you."

After breakfast and the adults usual morning run, the family of four settled on the sofa to watch Natasha's favourite movie - The Bridge To Terribithia. None of the other Avengers were allowed to know her favourite movie was anything but The Shining, but it didn't stop them watching it. They sat curled up with popcorn for the next couple hours, Peter cried when Leslie died (as usual) so Natasha cuddled him right until he calmed down. Once the movie ended, Wanda jumped up and put The Sister Act on. Maria didn't have many happy memories from her childhood, but she remembered going to see the movie when it came out in cinema's with her friends - they'd been ten and she's snuck out. She always remembered it in fondness and had watched it so many times she could remember every line. Peter and Wanda had never watched it, so they were excited to see the movie.
