"Ugh, mama, gross!" Peter yelled as soon as he saw his mum and her girlfriend kissing in the corner.
"Peter, grow up. " Natasha laughed. "I'll see you later." She turned back to Maria and kissed her again.
"You're going to scar me for life!" The poor boy yelped as he ran out of the room.

Peter grabbed his school bag as he ran out his room, popping his head in to see if his mother was ready to take him to school.
"Mama! We have to g-oh my god!" He backed out the room quickly.
"Shit. Oh god. Fuck." He heard from the room as he sat on the floor covering his eyes.
"I'm never going to unsee that!" A few more curses and thumps came from the room before Natasha sprinted into the corridor to see Peter covering his eyes.
"Shit, Pete, sorry. What were you doing?" Although she started apologetic she quickly turned her embarrassment into anger.
"I need to wash my eyes!" Peter suddenly stood, looking anywhere but his mother. "Sorry, sorry." He ran off. Natasha ran after him.
"God Pete, knock next time." She scolded.
"It's eight in the morning, you're normally up and about at six. What the hell were you doing?" Two can play that card.
"Peter, it's completely normal for two adults to-" Peter ran out the room the moment Natasha started to explain.
"No! Don't do that! I need to forget this ever happened. Clint! Clint! Can you take me to school?" The teenager thanked his lucky star that Clint happened to be walking down the corridor at that precise moment.
"Sure buddy." Clint took in Natasha unruly hair and clothes that were both too big and not on right. She placed a hand on Peter's shoulder.
"Wait. Pete, honey, I'm sorry. We'll, um, I'll make it up to you okay?" Peter patted the hand and then took a few stepped away - he just really couldn't look at his mother in that moment.
"Yeah. Yeah, god I can't look you in the eye. Yeah. I'll see you later!" He ran down to the garage to wait for Clint.
"What the hell just happened?" Clint hissed at Natasha.
"He-uh, he walked in on me and Maria." Her face was more red than her hair. Clint laughed and walked off to take his nephew to school.

Peter stood by the stove, flipping pancakes. Maria sat drinking coffee at the island while reading over a few mission reports.
"Here you go Maria." He slid a plate in front of her - she was surprised, he hadn't spoken to her since the incident a month ago, she looked up and saw him staring at his shoes.
"Thank you Peter." He nodded and darted away to flip another pancake. Natasha walked in.
"Hey honey." She kissed the side of Peter's head as she ruffled his hair.
"Maaammmaaa." He groaned making her laugh.
"Hey babe." She wrapped her arms around Maria from behind and put her chin on the brunette's shoulder. "Whatcha looking at?"
"Boring ass mission reports." Maria grumbled, shifting a piece of paper.
"Maybe I can make it less boring." The redhead smirked, kissing Maria's neck gently.
"With glitter! Make it less boring with glitter!" Peter threw some glitter over the two off them, Natasha jumped backwards and away as Maria chuckled. "Like good Christian Minecraft Servers!"
"Why do you have a handful of glitter?" Natasha asked her son, trying unsuccessfully to brush it off her shoulders - she already regretted getting ready before breakfast, her SHIELD suit now covered in the shiny hexagons.
"It was Wanda's idea. I have a load of it hidden all around so that I can punish you when you start being all gross like that."
"Peter, that's not a punishment." Maria commented.
"You say that Mia, but this stuff gets everywhere and doesn't clean off easily. We have briefing in an hour." Natasha told her.
"Shit."
"Language." Steve grumbled, picking up his plate with pancakes on it. "Kid's right there."
"Yup, you both have to stand in front of Fury and your colleagues covered in glitter." Peter ignored Steve.
"You're evil." Natasha laughed.
"I think it's fair after the two if you scarred me for life. Eat up, or I'll eat all the pancakes." He slid Natasha's plate over to her.

He'd made the plates when he was younger. Steve had one painted like his shield, Tony's like his arc reactor, Bruce's was covered in science equations because Peter admired him more than Hulk (though they were written in green), Thor's was his hammer surrounded by cartoon lightning, Clint's was a bird (Natasha had been so proud) carrying a bow in its feet, Natasha had a painting version of her holding little Peter's hand with 'me' with an arrow pointed at the kid and 'mama' under Natasha. Peter himself had one a bit of a mixture of all of them. Maria's was more recent, he hadn't made it but had seen it at a shop and bought it specifically for her. It was white with a black border and said 'badassery (bad·ass·er·y) noun | actions or behaviour that are amazing or unbelievable; the act of being a badass.' - she absolutely loved it. Wanda had one too, he'd made it when he found out Natasha was adopting her - it was wavy around the edges, shades of red all over it with the word 'magic' in funky letters.

The whole compound got covered in glitter pretty quickly; between kisses that lasted too long, not-so-secret butt slaps, and a surprising about of eye-fucking - the two were covered from head to toe nearly all the time. Tony didn't even get mad about the glitter all around his building, too amused to care. Pepper did care, but couldn't find it in her heart to tell the boy off.

Natasha and Maria had to go to work with glitter sprinkled in their hair and on their uniform - unable to wash it off.

"Hill. You have some-" Before Melinda May could finish, Maria cut her off with a glare and short answer.
"I am aware May, ignore it." She growled, sending a scowl to the level seven agent in front of her.

While it hadn't been confirmed, most agents had a suspicion that Hill and Romanoff were closer than what met the eye - many believed the two were together. And this confirmed it. Both walked in covered in rainbow glitter, glares directed to everyone they saw and punishments dished out to those who commented. Agents could only assume two things - a mistake in the bedroom, or Romanoff's mischievous son was up to something.

Hill stormed in one day, more sparkly than usual with a glare that hugely disagreed with the other wise happy hexagons blanketing her. Natasha was stood on the main deck - having been gone for three weeks on a mission, and thus, glitter free.
"Romanoff! I am going to kill your son!" She boomed. Agents dived out of her way. "I swear to god, you better revoke his card. If that boy throws one more handful of glitter at me I'm throwing him out the window!"
"Maria, calm down, he's just having fun."
"Yeah, yeah fun is when he messes with Stark and blows shit up. Fun is not throwing glitter at me before work." The brunette scowled.
"Would you prefer he was shooting bullets? Because I'm sure he wouldn't be opposed after that comment." Natasha laughed, the whole deck froze - that was more scary than Hill.
"You better find his fucking glitter bags." While with anyone else the agents surrounding them would laugh and poke fun, all were too scared of the rumours that Hill kept the bodies of agents that displeased her under her floorboards in her office, and that Romanoff had been trained since she was four to kill people - it was believed that she could take down four heavily armed men only meters away from Director Fury himself without even being noticed.
"Maybe you should stop messing around in front of him. He's still a teenage boy, he doesn't like knowing what goes down in his mother's bedroom." And there was the confirmation the agents needed to know the two were more than colleagues.
"I am not the only guilty one here." While Maria grew more frustrated, Natasha's amusement grew.
"Yeah yeah yeah, you know you love it." The redhead smirked.
"I hate you." Maria grumbled, not unlike a moody teenager.
"That's not what you were saying earlier." Natasha winked.
"Get the fuck to debriefing before I fire you." Agents jumped back at the new level of ice in her tone.
"You aren't my handler, you can't." However the redhead was unphased, she walked up and stood close to the brunette.
"I am your superior officer. And your son has to run laps every time he throws glitter at me from now on." The room was silent, not even the click of a mouse or keyboard could be heard. People held their breaths, scared of annoying the commander further.
"I think seeing you naked was punishment enough." Natasha's eyes roamed over Maria's body. She hadn't forgotten where she was, but cat was out of the bag, might as well have some fun with it. Her hands gently followed her eyes, Maria didn't react.
"One time Tash, one time." Maria mumbled this time, Natasha laughed and walked off, calling one last comment over her shoulder.
"I'd like to remind you it was our daughter's idea!" The cheeky redhead darted from the room, the stapler Maria threw hitting the doors as they closed behind the spy.

The deck stood frozen, so much information had been revealed. Many agents thought the two may have been sleeping together (and this confirmed it) but they had a daughter together too? Exactly what was going on with their deputy director and top spy?

"Get back to work!"
