TW//- MENTION OF SEXUAL ASSAULT/RAPE  FURTHER ON IN THE STORY

"You would have still been in that dirty little strip joint if it wasnt for me, I mean, you'd probably be giving out extra jobs to make up the rent without me!" Dean hisses at her, Ash brings her hand back and slaps him.

"Go to hell" she growls, she grabs her coat and storms out of the bunker, away from her life and her family. She just walks along the road, the cool chill of the air nips at her exposed skin, she had only been wearing pyjama shorts and an oversized sweater when they had been fighting. She couldnt even remember how it started, over something dumb, then it took a turn and feelings were hurt. It was low of him to bring up her past like that, he knew she had no other choice, he knew that she had hated that period in her life. When she met him it was like a blessing, at first he was just another customer, just a guy. He went in for 4 nights straight and every night he would ask for Ash, he'd try to flirt with her but she wasnt naive, she knew that flirting was just a way to sweeten the girls up, hoping that they'd give a little extra. Still, he was charming, and on the last night he was there when he slipped her his number she couldnt help the bubble of warmth that filled her. So he left, and she would often think about him, the man with the intense eyes and rugged looks, finally she had built up enough courage to simply text him. It went well, they begun speaking casually, he said he would have to revisit the town at some point, and Ash found that she hoped he would. She had never been interested in boys much, she was always into her books, her fantasy worlds, then when her parents died she had to give up everything. She couldnt go to school, too busy trying to gain money to live, for a while she worked in fast food, or call centres, but none of those worked out very well, she was working crazy hours for minimal pay, thats when one of her friends suggested the club that she was working at. It seemed like her best option so Ash did it, and she quickly became a favourite, with her style of dancing being more along the burlesque way she found that a lot of people liked it. She had never even gave a customer a second thought, until Dean, he was different. It was months until his next visit, apparently he was in the area for work, Ash didnt care why he was there, she was just pleasantly surprised to see him again. Whilst he was there he made sure he was the only one she would dance for, she thought it was kinda cute. So another few fun days of flirting passed, but then he had to leave again, on his last night at the club Ash had stayed long after her shift, having a couple drinks with Dean before they would both leave. He walked her home and they kissed, nothing else, though it seemed like a pretty simple thing after she had given him more lap dances than she could count. Then life went back to normal, back to the sleazy customers and the mind numbing shifts, although nothing had really changed since she met Dean it felt like it had, she had never minded stripping. It was a means to an end and it made her feel empowered at a time she was very low on self confidence, but after meeting Dean she realised she didnt want to do it, she didnt want all these men pawing at her everynight. She wanted more of her talks with Dean, or his wiseass jokes that never failed to make her laugh, he was like a breath of fresh air but right now she was drowning. She stuck to it though, she did what she had to do to survive, until one night things changed. She had just finished a shift and had left the club, it was a busy night and there was a group of guys thrown out for being too grabby during one of her numbers. She was walking along the road, it was a 10 minute walk, 15 at the most, and she had made the very same walk a thousand times.

'I'm more than

I'm more than

I'm more than'

She now wore a pair of jeans and a shirt, her leather jacket on top, even now though there was a light chill that bit her skin. She pulls her jacket tighter around herself and keeps going, her feet padding against the ground rhythmatically. She didnt even suspect that there was something wrong until she heard the low growl of an engine, the occasional car driving by at this time wasnt so unusual but the way it seemed to crawl along the road was strange. She quickens her pace and swallows hard, keeping her eyes on the path ahead, she only had 5 minutes or so until she would be home. As quick as the thought entered her head she heard the sound of a car door closing, she again quickens her pace, breaking out into a run now. She didnt care if it was a completely innocent situation and she looked dumb, though that wasnt relevant, it wasnt an innocent situation. She felt a hand wrap around her mouth and then an arm around her waist. She screams against the hand, trying to break away, by the height and build of the person she assumed it was a man. She fights hard against him but when someone else got out of the car and joined the pair she knew it was futile, the new guy curls his hand into a fist and punches the side of her head, making her black out for a few moments.
