~ KENMA ~
I leaned lazily against the wall of the hallway before class. My fingers tapped away on my phone, as I half-heartedly listened to Taketora grieve over the detrimental impacts of not having a female manager. Meanwhile, Lev was rambling on and on about... well, to be honest, I didn't know. He wasn't worth paying attention to.
For some reason, the hallways were always extra crowded and noisy in the mornings. And with the Volleyball Club in here, having finished training early, it was even more of a chaotic mess. I watched blankly as Inuoka and Lev jumped around, comparing their verticals by touching the ceiling. How do they have so much energy?
Shaking my head, I turned my attention back to my game. I was building something on Minecraft when I caught a glimpse of a familiar figure walk past. I immediately looked up, and called out to her. "Akari."
The brown-haired girl stopped and looked back. The surprised expression on her face soon transformed into a small smile. "Kenma." She acknowledged me with a wave.
I waved back at her, before she turned and headed to class.

"Yo, what's the hurry man?" Taketora asked, sounding slightly concerned, no doubt surprised at my sudden rush.
"I'm going to class." I replied bluntly.
"Class doesn't start in fifteen minutes, chill out."
"Oh, I'm sure it's not class that's got Kenma so hot and bothered." A low, evil voice butted in.
I jerked my head up to glare at the rooster that had invited himself into this conversation. He did not heed my warning. Instead, the Kuroo had the audacity to continue. "If I'm not mistaken, did I just see you smile and wave Akari Shiro?"
"You are mistaken." I said indifferently. Wait... how does he know Akari? Ugh. Never mind.
I quickly slung my bag over my shoulders, ready to get myself out of here. But before I could do that, I felt Kuroo's large hand on my shoulder, as he moved in to block my path. He then proceeded to ask in an unnecessarily loud voice. "Kenma, is there something you're not telling us?"
By doing so, Kuroo had successfully captured the attention of whole volleyball team, as he had no doubt intended to. Much to my annoyance, and the rooster's delight, I found myself surrounded. That scheming son of a...
