This one sucks major ass.

Yam Yam by No Vacation
~
When Yoongi gets a call from Jeongguk, he isn't even sure if he wants to pick up.
Hoseok left a few hours ago, but his words still sit deep in Yoongi's bones. And a call from Jeongguk can possibly only be related to the case.Still, with a heavy sigh, Yoongi picks up.
"Hm?"
"Hyung! Hey!"
He sounds awfully excited, annoyingly so. "What's up?"
"Okay, this might come as a surprise, but I've got exciting news!" Jeongguk says, making Yoongi knit is brow in suspicion. Good news are a rarity these days.
"Go on," he says nonetheless.
"I talked to Bae Seoyeon," Jeongguk says, "And she said that they were going to interrogate the two main suspects. That day is today. Yoongi, we have to go to her office to find out what happens—"
"Woah, woah, wait a second," Yoongi stops him, "I thought you had great news."
"Well, aren't those great news? Today could be a major step in the investigation..."
"No," Yoongi shakes his head, sighing, "It's not... we can't — Jeongguk." He pauses, making sure the younger is listening to him. "If Seoyeon had wanted us to be there, she would have told us. We can't... this is none of our business right now."Jeongguk is quiet for a few moments, too stunned to reply. "What," he says eventually.
Yoongi exhales loudly.
"We have to wait until she calls us," he explains, "We can't really do anything beside that. You know it. Yes, it's going to be hard, but we have to be patient and trust that she is going to make the right decisions."
"Yoongi," Jeongguk says impatiently, "What are you saying?"
"You heard me. I'm not going and neither are you."
"This is stupid," Jeongguk exclaims, exasperation clear in his voice, "We can't just wait, we have to do something. You were with me on this before!"
"Maybe," Yoongi says, "But it doesn't matter. We'll have to wait for the results. Stay home, Jeongguk. Or come over if you want to distract yourself. I'm home, anyway."
Jeongguk scoffs. "I can't believe this," he says angrily, "You sound just like anyone else."Then, he hangs up before Yoongi can retort anything else. He lowers his phone with a sigh and puts it on the table then.
He understands Jeongguk's frustration, but he also knows that Hoseok was right with what he said; Yoongi needs some distance, and that doesn't work if he is in and out of Seoyeon's office all the time. Jeongguk will realize it soon, he is sure of it. He is still young, after all, just a kid; he needs to learn, that's all.So, Yoongi doesn't give it a second thought when he sits down on his couch, puts on a movie that he doesn't pay attention to as he goes through some of the stuff he missed in class.
~
Jeongguk feels more confident than ever when he walks into the office building. Screw Yoongi, really, and screw Namjoon who refused to accompany him, too. He can do this alone, he doesn't need anyone else. He just wants to talk and find out about the interrogation.
He ignores the weird stares he gets from other office workers taking the elevator with him; he is pretty out of place with his baggy, dark clothes and his messy hair. Needless to say that he is just eighteen — but Jeongguk doesn't mind. All he can think about is Taehyung and the interrogation.
He doesn't know how many times he has walked down the hallway to Bae Seoyeon's office before, but one thing is for sure: never before has he been this confident in his steps. There is a newfound energy inside of him as he thinks of what this interrogation could mean. They are one step further now, one step closer to finding the culprits.
He doesn't understand how Yoongi and Namjoon aren't excited about this.
