Amiss (Completed)

XVII

For what it felt like minutes, he stood there waiting for Lisa's men to get ready and bombard the passage under the plank, he took his stance and stood behind two guards. Lisa was also holding a gun on her hands as she stands beside Diego.

The first two man grabbed the edge of the plank, pulling it upwards, revealing a dark hole with sturdy stairs under it. They slowly stepped in, ignoring the smoky dust sorrounding them. Diego opened his flash light and held the gun on his other hand in front just like how Lisa did it.

As they walk further down, they noticed that the stairs were getting more stable and cement like. Their line stopped when the men first in line saw a light in the end of the dark hall, they looked up and there was a red light turning off and on, a figure can be see moving on one corner.

Two silent shots were fired but the men moving in front of them were the only one laying unconcious on the ground, "Get ready."

Lisa was anticipating another guard following the dead one but she was surprised, along with the people sorrounding her, a batch of five shadows of huge men came forward from the darkness.

The lights on the hall suddenly opened revealing them, all wearing suite and tie, that of a hitman, gun and weapons on hand. They all ducked when the team showered them bullets, Diego shot one of them in the chest.

Two of the man leading Lisa's Team fell on the ground, she stretched her hand to shoot two of their opponent. Diego rolled on the ground, avoiding the flying bullets that kept on chasing him and hid on one of the corpses of the dead guards, he closed his eyes for a brief  moment and stood up shooting two men in the head.

Lisa and Diego grabbed the long range guns that their fallen men once owned, trying to hold back tears on their eyes and continued on taking the path in front of them. He also grabbed one gun with a silencer from one of their opponents and shoved it behind him.

At the end of the hall, there was only one path to their left, Lisa pried on the corner of the wall first and in just one look she was able to see how many men came running on their way after hearing the gunshots. She raised her pinky, signifying the there are six men approaching.

She smirked to Diego before disappearing and turning to the hall, later on gunshots were heard. Diego followed her, looking at the two bodies falling on the floor and shooting three of them without failing.

Lisa seemed to have a problem with her gun so she was not able to shoot the remaining guard. Instead, she used the butt of her gun to hit him in his face, left and right, before stepping on his bended knees and hooking her other leg on his neck. She forced her body upwards to sit on his shoulder as she pull a knife from her shoe, using it to stab him on his neck.

Diego looked at her debating if he should praise the girl or not, when she let the body fall down, setting her down slowly to the ground without stumbling, he just scoffed.
