Lisa assisted Becca out of the car, two guards ran to them, one of them bringing a coat to cover Becca'
s shoulder that was now full of blood.
The windy day was joined with the sunset that was visible from the fields where their planes landed. Becca's skin shivered when a gust of wind blew her hair off her skin, and dried her tears once more. She could not even feel what she was before this whole tableau that she created for nothing. She can not feel anything aside from the pain that she caused everyone around her, no, she was not worried about the company, she's worried about someone right now.
She slowly stepped on the stairs that they had laid down for her, everyone was looking at her, trying to stop themselves from asking, Is she the Rebecca they know?
When they opened the door for the room inside, Becca stopped from moving walked back to the stairs where she looked at the following cars.
"Becca, you have to get inside." Lisa demanded.
"I will wait for him." she answered.
"He will not come back," Lisa's voice dropped, "I know Maddie, she will not stop until she kills him. Now get inside before you catch a cold."
"He promised me, he will come back. I'll wait here."
"You are bleeding for fuck sake!"
"If he doesn't come back, didn't I deserve this?" Becca started crying again, "If he dies, my guilt will eat me my whole life Lisa. Keith died because of me, a lot of our men died before because of me. Why do you think I have to live?!"
"Because you still have us! Your men loves you even though you think you don't, they care for you even though you sometimes roll your eyes at them! Becca, you dragged us out of our miserable lives and let us live like a normal person! Why do you think we want you alive? Because we love you!" Lisa yelled at her, letting a grain of tear fall down her cheek, she hugged her friend tighter than ever.
"I am your sister now, and everyone of us is your family, okay? We protect you not because you pay us, but because we want to. Understand?" she continued.
Deborah watched from the door of the van where they've decided to take her. She watched them hug, a hug she never thought she will miss, but she denied it, still blinded by her greed. Her eyes focused on a car that started approaching the scene.
Lisa pulled her hug from Becca and looked at the same car Deborah had her eyes on, it stopped in front of them. The driver's seat swung open and a lady stepped out, her hand were wet with blood, "You!"
Deborah had a smug smile on her face when she saw Lily step out of the car and Becca walking to her.
