The whole nation was shocked to a revelation that the Handlife Insurance Company had to reveal early this morning. The CEO of the said company, Ms. Rebecca Liner, stated that she found her sister, Ms. Debbie Liner, in Berlin during her vacation and they have discovered that she was working with the notorious gang leader Maddie Inferio, and it also turned out that they collaborated on faking her death. FBI agents are investigating deeper on this case but one thing is for sure, Ms. Rebecca Liner, who got imprisoned for the case for a year is innocent.

Even if they try to switch the channel they have on their television and radio, all news have this content, all of them are curious to a case that left them baffled for over five years. It was quite remarkable how they praised the girl on being strong, though the words they threw at her when she was being questioned before smelled like rotten human skull.

Lily stood up from where she was sitting and reached for the remote control, she pressed the red button on it to turn off the television and got back to reading the novel Lisa gave her. She told her that that was the first novel Becca gave her when they first met. Just like an old book, it has a brown color extending from the edge of the book into the center of it.

The edges of the book itself has some scratches but it does not matter because she can still read the wonderful story inside. It was a dystopian story, that she was also interested o

n reading.

For now, Lisa assigned her to watch over Diego while they fix the problem inside the company and because FBI have bombarded the whole building yesterday, they have to move him to a hospital nearby.

It was already noon when a nurse entered the room where they are to get Diego's blood pressure. Lily watched her wrap a cloth like thing on his arm and also the way her hands apply pressure on a pump.

She stood up to look closely, "One-ten over ninety, we still have low numbers on him but I think he is stable. He just have to take vitamins and eat leafy foods, he will be fine."

"Oh, okay."

"Are you the guardian of the patient?" Lily nodded, "How old are you?"

"Twenty..."

"You're still young but your built is nice." the nurse laugh, she smiled at her, "I will just inject his antibiotics, okay?"

The nurse started moving to her cart near the door and started arranging the things that she needed on injecting the medicine on his IV.

Okay, then, consider yourself at home.

Lily remembered a phrase that Becca told her earlier as she take a quick peak on the nurse, that phrase was not just for the purpose of making her at ease but just like what she did on her guards, she wants to help her out of the life she usually does. Now that she is on their hands, Lily can breath and she is sure that she will be living normal.
