-Enjoy my hamster Aspen :)
I woke up on the sofa, alone. Kyle had left around midnight, so I didn't get too much sleep after also planning how to get Heidi dead. I stretched, showered, brushed my teeth, got changed, ate, packed, then walked out to the bus stop. Only Stan was there, probably messaging Wendy. I didn't talk to him, looking down to the snow.
Stan has been distancing from us for a while now, since him and Wendy got back together. Him and Kyle were still best friends, though, but just talked less. That's probably why the ginger wanted to see me so much, because he hated being alone deep down. When he was younger, he'd always have nightmares of being murdered even if his parents were home.
Probably because of all the horrific events in our small town.
Kenny and Kyle came over, both from Kyle's house. I guess he stayed over. "Hey Eric!" Kenny chimed, pulling down his parka. He slapped me on my back, a cheesy grin on his face.
"Hey Ken." I replied, throwing my arm around his neck. "So, did you two make out or something last night?" I looked at Kyle.
"No, I just wanted to go over there because my house was empty." He wasn't lying, his parents were probably at the pub and his siblings might have been at their friends. The bus pulled up, so I was going to sit next to Kenny until Stan stole my seat. I looked at the other side, and there sat the lonely Jew. I seated myself, pulling out my maths homework.
"Is you're best friend in a mood with you again, Kyle?" I asked, scribbling down some random numbers.
"Well I did leave his game early, so probably. I was meant to go to his afterwards, but I guess I chose you over him; weirdly." He replied, scratching his palm, causing visible jolts to go through his body where it tickled. An itchy palm was literally the worst, it would never stop itching until about 10 minutes later.
"I appreciate it." I muttered, shoving my book back in my bag uneatly. I didn't want to look at him, my face was heating up. I've never noticed how sensitive my facial expressions got when he was around, I guess it's just gotten to that point. He didn't take note, he just pulled out his phone to message Heidi. I peered over, they agreed to meet after school, at a park.
The bus stopped so I rushed off, not wanting anyone to see my face. I got to my locker, stuffing everything in and out, attempting to remember what I had today. "Hey, Cartman." I spun round to see Stan, tapping my shoulder timidly. "Are you okay? You're acting..strange."
"Oh, I'm fine!" I gleamed back, forcing a smile as I hid the post it notes behind my back. "I've just got to see Mrs.Forde before class. I've got to go, goodbye!" I locked my locker then walked off without a response from the raven haired teenager.
I jogged into the first classroom that Heidi and I were in, it mesmerised from when we were together. I double checked that no one was around, peering in, then placed the post it note on her desk. It read: 'I know you kissed Ian while you were already in a relationship with Token. Slut!' The facts were true, and only I knew about it.
Ian was a fairly attractive, new guy in our school. Everyone loved him, he always had a bright grin on his face. A shit eating grin. He liked kissing girls just to break their hearts, and Heidi was a victim of his hot gaze. She was so in love with him, that she blocked out one of her closest friends for him; losing Bebe as a friend.
I sat at my own desk, pulling everything out. Mrs.Forde walked in, our art teacher. "Oh, hello Eric!" She smiled, she was the only chill teacher in school who liked my confident manner. "Keen on drawing trees today, are we?" She might have been half joking, but I actually enjoyed drawing scenery. "Well, as you're here, would you like to get our art supplies for today? They're on the top floor, last door on the right, as usual." I nodded, wandering the halls a little more to try and find Heidi. There she was, smiling at her screen; like always.
I was going up the stairs until I saw Kyle, scanning his timetable about one thousand times. Since a few people have a new teacher and have moved sets, he looked fairly confused. I stood beside him in silence, drawing my finger over the new paper. "Oh, Mrs.Forde, you're with me. I'm just going to get the art supplies, come on." I tugged on his sleeve, as he would be slower as he tried to shove the paper back in his pocket neatly.
"Thanks Cartman." He said, my grip on his sleeve easing up. "What's the subject at the moment? In my last class we were doing portraits."
"We're doing scenery at the moment, trees. We've already done portraits, maybe because I've been a higher set than you for a while."
"Cool. Say, um, could you help me get with Heidi? Like, what she's interested in? I can't read people like you can." So..I'm both trying to get Heidi and Kyle together then also get Heidi dead? No way.
"Sorry, I didn't pay much attention to what she said, being honest. But hey, that's what talkings for." I nudged him, of course he was always shy to start off a conversation with his crush. I was at first, but I've learnt to act natural. I stepped into the art supply room, handing one tray to Kyle then 2 for myself. Lucky for him, I gave him the lightest.
"I can take one." He protested, but I pushed him out with my arm before he could get a chance. "Cartman!" He hissed, probably wanting to show off to Heidi. He also probably raised his voice and stood straight to catch Heidi's attention, because he did. I rolled my eyes, tempted to trip him over; but I sadly didn't.
We walked inside the colourful room, earning a smile from Mrs.Forde. "Oh, you've brung Kyle along with you!" She gleamed, I nodded in response and handed out supplies for everyone, covering the post it note in the process. "There's a seat next to Eric free, Kyle, so you can sit there." Sweeet!
Students were soon pouring in, the voice of PC Principle in the background directing them. My heart was dancing inside of my chest, I was fairly close to Kyle right now. Heidi didn't sit next to anyone, and she was seated at the back, so it was cool. She was fairly gossipy when it came to others, but silent when things were about her.
Mrs.Forde talked through our lesson, and so I watched Heidi's expression unfold as she checked the note. She looked horrified, and good job I had a small mirror on me. I aimed it at her in secret, catching no ones attention. Her skin turned white, her lip quivering, and she shoved the yellow paper in her pocket while she thought through everything.
Kyle noticed the mirror, taking it off of me. "Stop staring at yourself, asshat! You're gonna get distracted." He scolded.
"The teachers chill, stop worrying so much Jew." I replied, sketching some sticks.
"If you say so, Fatass."
