Emerald

Chapter one [ being a princess ] 👑

You are about to travel to a place of adventure. You will embark on a journey of true terror, adventure, love and..... Magic.

Emerald comes from a very poor family on the outskirts of the kingdom Rowland. She will soon be eighteen years old. Emerald although poor and a beauty unmatched to any others. Her eyes are beautiful emerald green. This of course was how she got her name.

She was always kind and humble. Emerald however was abandoned as an infant. But she was found by a couple who could not have children of their own. Her new parents used to pray to the light ancestors for a child so when they found the abandoned baby.

They raised hers as their own child. Her parents vowed to love her dearly and unconditionally. And Emerald, of course loved her new parents just as much.

However, her parents were strangely overprotective of Emerald, because of this Emerald grew up as a very lonely child. They lived in a secluded cabin no one ever visited. She was never allowed to any public places or gatherings. Emerald was shut.away from the real world.........

But, Emerald's life was about to change. Every girl in the kingdom was to be married at the age of eighteen. The groom is arranged in secret from the bride. Only the groom and the parents know any details of the arrangements. Most marriages were based on class, title or station. But in rare cases LOVE.

Much more will be explained later but for now let's begin our story.......

"I can't believe I am finally leaving tomorrow! I bet my husband is handsome. Ohh! I'm sure of it, and kind, f course..... Romantic".

As you may already know, Emerald had been dreaming of this moment for a long time. She would be free of her parents over protection, she could finally see the world!

Emerald looks down at the necklace her mother gave her. Her parents could never afford this and she knew her mom had spent all her savings on it. The necklace was an exact replica of the one her mom wore.

"I wonder how often, I will see mother and father once I'm gone? It's getting late, I should get some sleep. Papa and I have to leave in the morning".

*Lights out*

Two soldiers, known as the Dark ancestral soldiers are walking in the forest. Ebony, a blond female and Coal, the brother of Ebony. One awesome thing about them is that they have the ability to read people's minds.

Meanwhile......

"Ebony, let's just leave already. I'm tired". says Coal as he walks tiredly.

"I wish the dark ancestors soldiers didn't have the ability to read minds". Ebony says as she walks ignoring Coal's tireless whines.

"I heard that sis!".

"Then stop thinking will you your driving me crazy". Ebony said as she rolled her eyes.

"But I'm hungry".

"I'm gonna feed you my fist if you wouldn't stop whining". Ebony said annoyed at Coal's nonstop complaints.

"We can't go back to the dark realms without any souls, you know that right". Ebony said.

"But there's no one out here at night. No one would be that stupid enough to be out here right now". Coal said as touched his tummy and whined.
