"Asher are you alright". A voice came from the window. Asher looked at the window, sighed and said…… "I'm fine Amber, what are you doing here".
"Can't I check on my big brother again". Amber said and Asher sat up and told her to keep quiet.
"Relax bro, I'm quiet are you feeling better".
"Yes I'm fine, now go before Emerald sees you here". Asher said. "Oh yes, make sure you keep your little queen safe, their trying to kill her, that's why you guys were attacked". Amber said as she pulled out her sword and cleaned it with a rag.
"Is it for her necklace". Asher said and Amber nodded. "You know I miss you right, now come here let me heal you". Amber said as she came closer to Asher and sat close to him. "Keep Emerald safe". Amber said but before she stretched out her hand there was a loud thud of glass shattering on the floor.
They turned to the door and it was Emerald on the floor picking the glasses of the soup bowl from the floor. "S..sorry". she said as she picked the glass.
"Emerald stop you'll cut yourself". Asher said but before Emerald listened, a glass cut her on her palm. "Owww". She whimpered as Asher quickly stood up from his bed "Emerald". But Amber stopped him and went to Emerald.
"Come, I'm Amber, Asher's sister protector of the light ancestors". Amber introduced herself as she held Emerald up.
Emerald blinked not once not twice but three times then she glared at Asher, Asher turned his face not making eye contact.
Amber noticing the tension between them said "I'll leave right now for you guys to sought this out, bye Asher", as she left through the window. Emerald stared at Asher and walked closer to him and there was silence. Asher finally spoke breaking the silence "so, I never told you about my sister, why the surprised face".
Emerald couldn't say anything she just blinked and Asher chuckled "here, come over here". He said tapping the empty space that was beside him, Emerald looked at him and sat where he had pointed at and she immediately spoke "so you know the light ancestors". Her voice was soft and low but loud enough for him to hear.
She looked at him waiting for an answer and he nodded slowly. She opened her mouth to speak again but Asher placed his hand on her mouth to keep quiet, Emerald widened her eyes and dragged his hands down. Asher glared at her as he put his hands on her waist as he came closer, Emerald shook at his touch. Butterflies were rummaging through her tummy as Asher pushed her down as the two of them laid down on the bed facing each other.
"Asher your hurt". Emerald said remembering his injury as she tried pulling away from him but Asher held his grip and he whispered in her ears "Amber healed it already". Emerald nodded her head and quickly came up with another excuse "you should probably get rest, I'll go make another soup for you". She said but Asher still held his grip and came closer to her, now they could hear each others heartbeats.
"Trying to ignore me right, I don't want soup I want you and I won't rest until you stay with me". Asher said as Emerald swallowed her breath and her cheeks turned pot red.
Emerald's POV (first person view)
His eyes were bright blue as he stared at me, his touch sent electric shocks to my veins and the butterflies in my tummy seemed to be getting hyped up. He looked at me not buying what I had just said "Trying to ignore me right, I don't want soup I want you and I won't rest until you stay with me". His words were real, no joke. I swallowed my breath as my cheeks were on fire.
He pulled a strand of my hair behind my ear and pecked my lips, he was so handsome and sweet. His smile made me hyped, I loved him more than anything or anyone; I'm not sure he even thought of me that way. "Sleep with me". His voice was soft as he said it in demand not a question. I nodded my head in response and he smiled.
