Chapter five [ Encounter ]🍃🌳

Emerald went to the Asher's door and knocked "come in". Said Asher as Emerald opened the door, went in and closed it behind her.

"You said you wanted to see me". Emerald said and Asher nodded.

"Yes, we have to sign some scrolls to the other kingdom and since my mom and dad wouldn't do it, we are". Asher said as he stood up from the bedpost.

"Is that why you called me to your room". Emerald said and Asher turned, smirked and said "yes why else would I call you".

"N..nothing". Emerald said and left the room and let out the breath she had been holding for so long.

She walked down the hallway and was about to enter her room when she saw Ivy ransacking her vanity drawer. "I..vy". Emerald called and Ivy turned as if caught up in a crime, but being very mischievous she said "oh Emerald thank goodness your here, I was looking for your make up kit and you know I hate going around without looking good. That's why I was searching so fast, could you help me find them"... Emerald looked at her suspicious and said "umm well their at my closet vanity".

Ivy sighed and said "thank you". Then she glanced at Emerald's neck and saw the necklace. "Stupid". She muttered to herself. But Emerald could hear "what was that". Ivy quickly looked up and said "oh my goodness, I love your necklace. Is it a princess ornaments or...".

"My mom gave it to me when I was little and said that'll protect me wherever I go". Emerald said and ivy smiled "can I try it on for a minute". Just as she was about to get closer, her her room door opened and the maid came in and said "your grace the prince is waiting for you outside". Emerald turned and said "I'll be there in a minute". Then the maid left.

"I'm sorry Ivy maybe another time, but I got to go". Emerald said and left the room.

"Stupid maids". Ivy muttered to herself "I'll get that gem as soon as I can". She finished then left the room.

"Did you get the necklace". Coal asked for the fifth time.

"Coal, relax let the girl speak". Ebony said and turned to Ivy "speak".

"I couldn't get it.. but turns out that it's with Emerald, the princess and I'm living with them for a few days". Ivy grinned slyly. Ebony smiled "I knew it was with her, we have to get it".

Coal put his arm across her shoulders and said "you know what the deal is. Get the necklace, get ....". "Asher". Ivy finished the sentence and Coal grinned "very good, now go".

Ivy left.

"Where are we?". Emerald as as the carriage came to a stop in a gigantic garden.

Asher smirked and said "a garden". In a 'duh' tone.

"You said we....". Just as she was about to finish her sentence, Asher put his hands over her mouth and said "no questions, live a little will you". And he stepped out of the carriage.

Emerald stepped out of the carriage and her eyes widened "wow".

The garden was filled with different plants and flowers of different kinds and species. This wasn't a garden, this was a world itself of flowers, the butterflies were very low at the meadow. At the middle of the garden, was a big tree. It was beautiful and it looked odd, to say the least it looked enchanted.

"Emerald stay here, I need to go talk to the guards". Asher said as Emerald nodded while touching different plants. Asher left to go talk to the guards while Emerald just admired the plant.
