F/N's perspective

The week leading up to the tournament has been an eventful one to say the least. Well let's start out with the good things. For one Rachel and I have gotten back together and she's been staying at my place while the MHP searched her father's house for any evidence of more potential crimes he may have committed, letting her get enough of the essentials of course. Rachel has been getting along with Lily and Kate as she dropped her all high and mighty attitude and let her truth self out, which mainly has led to me getting picked on by all three in some form or fashion, which i guess isn't the worst thing in the world. Business has been booming at the shop, I've had so many orders coming in that I'll be set for at least the next half a year. Now making the cherry on top would have to be Garvel being found guilty and now is spending his time in prison. Though with all this good, I've had to deal with a lot of bad as well.

As of now I feel like I'm always being watched, maybe it's my paranoia of the Liberator's coming after me, Mack still hasn't found anything else on them or their whereabouts, so I always feel myself glancing at any dark alley or behind any corner to assure myself that someone isn't going to come out and attack me. Though what doesn't have my active paranoia anymore and is just a plain annoyance now is all the media outlets. The morning after the party I woke up to fifty people in my front lawn shoving microphones in my face and all scrabbling over each other to get the 'hot' news. I'm just glad I had brought my phone as almost in moments when I called the police they were on scene and ordered that anyone that remained on my property would be charged with trespassing. Which later was enforced when one reporter came back and climbed over my fence determined for answers before I sent him flying into the front lawn with a less than gentle gust of wind from my staff which got him a day in the town jail. Though I don't want to focus on the negatives as of today is the start of the tournament.

I woke up this morning as nice as every other this week as my eyes fluttered open and a smile crossed my lips. Rachel was curled up to my side, her head laying on my chest, lightly snoring. Moving a bit of hair out of her face and sitting up, she let out a groan of annoyance as she groggily opened her eyes.

Rachel: "Five more minutes."

F/N: "Rachel we need to get up."

Rachel: "Pleeeease."

F/N: "I'll give you back rubs later if you do."

She let out a little sigh as she pulled the covers off and got up.

Rachel: "Fine."

F/N: "Thank you love."

Rachel looked back with a smile as I got up too, grabbing the day's clothes and went to change. After putting on some fresh underwear, jeans and a somewhat nice long sleeve shirt, I looked in the mirror at my messy hair, the tips of my ears poking out of the mess as I held a bandana in my hands, running a finger over the fabric.

F/N: "Well, guess you're only hiding one thing now."

Rachel: "Your outrageously unkempt hair."

I glanced behind me as Rachel came into the bathroom wearing her normal day to day outfit. Snaking her arms around my waist as she laid her head on my shoulder. I leaned my head on hers as she kissed my cheek lightly.

Rachel: "Still hard to believe everyone knows now."

F/N: "You're telling me."

She smiled and moved back a bit as she kissed my ear, getting a little giggle out of me as the feeling tickled.

Rachel: "Well, I think you look cuter when you let them show."

F/N: "Think so?"

Rachel: "Mhm."
