"So you really haven't seen her in all these years? You never looked her up? Not even in Cerebro?" Alex asked the Professor, as the pair made their way into the CIA Headquarters with Rebel watching around them interested, just before she hit him hard on the arm.
"Ow!" He said as she glared at him and he shakes his head at her, as they continued to follow Charles down the hallway, and Charles laughed nervous at his question.
"Alex! What do you take more for, some sort of pervert? Yes, I looked her up once. Twice. But not in a long time, all right?" Charles spat out quickly as if to get the embarrassment over with as fast as he could.
"How did you leave things? Any hard feelings?" Alex asks and Rebel hit him again, much harder this time around. "Ow, just stop it." He said, as she looks at him with a cold glare. "Okay fine."
"Not likely. Everybody." Charles said and Rebel sighs as the entirety of how many people she would be freezing at once. "You'll be fine." Charles mutters.
"Everybody take a break." Rebel called out just loud enough for every person to hear and they all stopped at once, freezing in midair.
"Nicely done." Alex said as he looked at Rebel, who shrugged at him slightly but, there was a bit of a smile, starting to appear on her face.
"I wiped her mind of all memories of us. The beach, Cuba, that whole time."
"It was so long ago, Alex. Before the world even knew about any signs of mutants among us. I felt that... it was the best thing for her." Charles said as they together, continue to try to avoid the outstretched arms and legs as they together, made their way towards the door to Moira's office.
"And for you?" Alex questioned him gently, as Rebel pulled opened a bottle of water at her side, and Atlanta stood up with a grunt next to them. "I will never get used to that." Alex spoke up as she winced.
"That is extremely annoying and not to mention extremely uncomfortable to be shoved into a plastic bottle. Ow."
Atlanta cracked her neck hard as she spoke, and then Alex chuckled at her, as they all walked into the office.
"It didn't really matter what was best for me." Charles finishes as Rebel used a brief pulse of telekinesis to open the door.
"Moira... MacTaggert, hello!" Charles says in a weirdly happy tone of voice, as he wheeled himself into the room.
Alex shut the door behind the girls and Rebel looked at Moira with a bit of a smile, but quickly shut it off with a nudge from Atlanta beside her.
Rebel chuckled very quietly, as when the door shut everything went back to complete normal out of the office, and she listened to the grumblin' of a man, who had coffee all over himself now.
"I'm Professor..." Charles began.
"Charles Xavier. I know exactly who you are." Moira said, as she smiled at him.
"You do?" Charles asked, and now all of the thoughts, that were flashing in, and through his head, were all ones of self doubt about his ability to perform memory wipes properly.
"Of course I do," Moira took off her glasses as she stood up from her desk chair. "I have read, all of your papers. Its a pleasure to finally meet you."
She said and Rebel nodded slightly to her, as the three were lined up behind Charles, with Alex as he was now standing closest to the office door.
"Moira MacTaggert." She said, holding her hand out to Alex, who nodded.
"Alex Summers." He said, returning the handshake quickly.
"Atlanta Carson." Atlanta stuck out her hand and Moira's eyes lit up like it was Christmas as she saw the two for who she connected them too.
"You're the two mutants who were on TV in..." She began to say as they would both nod at her.
"I'm Dive, the water one." Atlanta said, with a wave of her hand, the one that had a wave tattoo on it anyways.
"I'm Rebel Zeke, Instinct. The other one." Rebel shook hands with Moira who was all too eager to meet them.
"Please, have a seat. Just throw that on the floor." Moira said, waving a bit dismissively at the pile of stuff, on the seat. Alex moved it and looked at the girls, who motioned for him to take it and so he did.
Rebel stood behind Charles, while Atlanta paced slightly behind the two, uncomfortable in the small space.
"This hopefully won't take too much longer Dive, try to relax."
Atlanta sighed quietly once again at Rebel's all too familiar inner voice in her head.
"I'm trying Rebel, but I'm just not made for being kept in a small and confined, very small space. You of all people should understand."
She sent back and Rebel nodded as Charles began clumsily leaping from question to question until Rebel leans forward.
"We actually had some questions about Cairo, Eygpt to ask you." She interrupts Charles, who looks grateful as she did, since he was making a big, bloody mess of it and he was aware of that fact.
Alex sent a smirk at Rebel, who looked at him with a quiet grunt as she read Moira's confusion.
"I'm afraid that's classified information. I don't mean, to be rude... but how did you all get in here?" She asked as she leans on her desk and Rebel looked at Charles knowingly.
"We have Level-Five Clearance." He answered her, with a natural tone in his voice after Rebel had stepped into the conversation, to give some needed him time to actually think again.
