[3] The New Ones {X-Men Apocalypse}

"What the hell is that?" Moira asked as Rebel hit the ground again, as she'd race towards the newly built pyramid.

"It's Erik." Raven said and suddenly Peter was standing behind Dive with a jump from her, as he looks over the destruction.

"You guys help Nightcrawler get into the pyramid. Get Charles and Rebel as well. Atlanta, go with them. I will take care of Erik." Raven said.

"How, are we gonna get through that?" Hank asked, and Peter looks at Raven with a gleam in his eyes.

"I can get you in there." He said and she looked at him. "I came here... for him. Let me help you." Peter said and Atlanta gave him a knowing look and he sighed. "That's not the only reason, but I can get you through." He said.

"All right. The rest of you, get Charles and Rebel on this plane, and get them out of here!" Raven ordered.

"We're not leaving without you!" Kurt insisted on saying and Atlanta looks at Peter with a knowing look.

"Don't worry. We'll catch up." Peter said with a roll of his eyes and Hank looked straight ahead.

"Hold on." Hank shouted at them all, as he landed the warplane on ground as best he could in the weather.

Atlanta and her kids, along with Scott, Jean, Beast and Kurt, all went towards the pyramid, where, they knew Rebel, was trying to protect the Professor.

Angel flew out of the pyramid and suddenly a shield of water covered them in ways that the stones levitated by Jean couldn't.

Then a kid mutant, she appeared out of a lightning strike and after almost a fatal blow, another mutant appears in front of them.

"Rebel, hurry!"
Jean said in her mind as Kurt was stuck in a losing battle now, against the metal winged man, Angel.

Rebel charged towards the center of the pyramid, as Charles' mind was in a survival mode, trying to lead her to him.

Kurt arrived at the same time as she did after a heated fight with Angel as he picked them both up and teleports away from the pyramid, with the very much alive, but unconscious Charles, and half conscious Rebel.

"I'll be right back." Kurt said to Moira, as he put the Professor down as Rebel, she slid down onto the floor.

Jean was teleported inside next as well and she hugged Rebel at once and Rebel shakes her head.

"I'm sorry that I ever yelled at you, do you hear me? I never should." She say and Jean just hugs her tightly.

"You were trying to make me better, I understand that now." She says as the next one Kurt brought was Scott, and, he was followed by Beast and then it'd be Atlanta as then the twins they both came together after.

"Let's go!" Beast said at once and the plane lifted off, but they heard a loud thumping sound up on the roof of the plane.

"What the hell was that?" Moira shouts loudly, as suddenly the purple energy blade cuts through the roof of the warplane like it was butter, and it was Angel that pulls it away from the roof.

"Shit!" Rebel shouted and her hand reached out quickly to throw him out but she was still too weak. "Jean!" She shouts.

"Kurt! Everyone, grab ahold of Nightcrawler!" Jean shouted and Rebel did as Jean suggested and the entire team held onto him.

"I've never done it with this many people." Kurt insisted but it was too late for another way of doing this.

"Get us out of here." Jean said as the twins held onto Atlanta, who held the shoulder of Nightcrawler and Charles was held by Jean.

Angel was destroyed as the plane crashed into the ground as they had all got away safely thanks to Kurt.

"Charles..." Raven whispered.

"Rebel..." Peter's whisper answered it and they looked at each other, before, they were looking back at Erik.

Atlanta groaned and Rebel pressed her fingers to her temple. "I thought I would never do this again, but I'm not seeing another choice." She said and a second later, she let herself go.

Erik looked up, shocked to feel another presence in his head that wasn't Charles.

It was showing him memories, of everythin' from the Cold War, training that Charles had given him, how he'd developed his powers from his friends most especially Charles Xavier.

Rebel opened her eyes again, leaving Erik's mind behind as she heard Peter scream.

"Peter." Charles said as he looked at Rebel, who stood up and levitated at once.

"Rebel, wait!" Jean said, but it was far too late for that, as the other Telepath, she charged towards the fight again.

Apocalypse looked at her, as the dust and rubble, began to rise around her, and he laughed at her, as he held up a struggling Peter's chin.

Peter's leg that wasn't trapped was very clearly broken and his arm was probably at least dislocated.

"Let him go!" Rebel shouted, as she hovered ten feet above Apocalypse as he held up Peter's chin and Psylocke's sword blade swung quickly around in a circle.

"You dare, to make demands of me?! You're nothing more then a puny telepath with a few tricks up your sleeve!" Apocalypse roared.

"Could, just a puny telepath with a few tricks do this, then?" She asked and suddenly Psylocke raised a hand and Rebel stopped, her eyes widening when she realized what was going to happen.

"Head up kid, make it easier on yourself." 'Psylocke' said to Peter as she swung her sword up so that it was resting under his chin.

"End him." Apocalypse demanded and Psylocke tried to slash his throat instead. While he was distracted by Raven, Rebel broke the earth around Peter and he shook his head.

"Raven..." And she nodded.

"Get out of the way and I'll destroy him." She said and he winced at her words, but nodded as best he could.
