Rebel knocked on the door of the Maximoff house and Peter's mother came to the door and she opens it as she saw who it was.

"Peter! Rebel's here!" Mrs. Maximoff called as Rebel shook hands with her quickly, before she went to walk down the stairs and Peter sped up the stairs to stand in her way quickly and Rebel backpedaled at once.

"Hey silver." She says, hands in her pockets as he chuckled and they both walked downstairs.

"Hasn't changed much. Unless, you count the lack of more stolen product like you remember from before." He said as he went towards the Pac Man Machine.

"You've finally gotten over your kleptomaniac tendencies?" Rebel asked as she levitated the TV remote and brought it over to herself.

"Finally? You've forgotten how many things you helped me give back to the stores?" Peter asked as his hands flew over the Pac Man controls and then she just chuckled at him.

"I've been busy Maximoff, I can't keep track of everythin'. You know, that I'm a teacher for kids and..." Rebel's voice trailed off and Peter raised a eyebrow.

"What? What's wrong?" He asked and she turned up the volume on the TV. A reporter was on the news in Poland.

"Lehnsherr was identified yesterday in the small town in Poland. Leaders from all communities are urging all of their citizens to remain calm."

Peter looked at Rebel, who let the remote float over to him. "He made have had really messed up reasons for doing all of it, but he didn't want to hurt mutants." She murmured.

"I know. Remember, I was there, in that elevator. Same as you, the day we broke him out. Of the Pentagon." He said and Rebel chuckled.

"Then you saved our asses." She said and he looks back at the television set and the laughter went away from the two of them immediately.

"As police and armed forces are mobilizing to find Lehnsherr... before he can strike again. If anyone has information about Lehnsherr, or as he is also known, Magneto... contact your local authorities immediately... and you proceed with caution."

"As he is considered extremely..." Then Peter looks up sharply as he heard his mother.

"Peter!" Mrs. Maximoff called down the stairs and Peter quickly as always, changed the TV channel and he went back to the Ms. Pac Man machine, and Rebel watches the commercials on TV.

"What's up?" Peter called up to his mother, as she came down the stairs and almost tripped over something that Rebel had been using as a seat.

"Oh, sorry Mrs. M." Rebel said as the stool lifted up, and was neatly, put to the side in the corner.

"Maybe you could teach Peter a few things about control. Considering he seems to have no qualms about it."

Mrs. Maximoff looked at her son as she spoke, but Rebel shook her head at her.

"Sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about. Apart from his thoughts going as fast as he does, on at least 50.. all different subjects at once... he does not have to learn to control anything."

She calmly spoke and Mrs. Maximoff raised her eyebrows at her. "Sorry, in my rush to leave at some point, yes, it is true. I can read your mind." Rebel's voice was deliberately dull.

"Wait, wait, wait... she can?!" Mrs. Maximoff asked and Peter nodded at her as he continued to play Pac Man.

"Anyways, I was just coming to check on you guys." She said as an excuse to cover up the shock, of Rebel's powers, that came to light.

"I'm good, just playing Pac Man. Rebel is doing good, watching commercials.. right, Instinct?" Peter said and Rebel's head dipped in a quick nod.

Mrs. Maximoff picked up the TV remote and changed it back to the channel with the news report about Erik. "You sure you weren't watching this?" She asked, looking at Rebel a bit harshly.

"It came just when the world was celebrating 10 years of peace between mutants and mankind." The news report continued.

"You are going after him now, aren't you?" His mother asks and Peter rolls his eyes slightly and Rebel stood up in her spot.

"You said you wanted me to get out of the house more, right?" Peter asked as it was clearly a rhetorical question.

"I can't stop you. Nobody can. But trust me, this won't end well. Nothing does with him."

She said and Rebel saw Peter flinch quickly, but still saw it, and then she felt the pain that rippled out of his mind as his mom said that.

"Clearly one thing did." Rebel said, and Mrs. Maximoff, she looked at her like she was insane.

"You got your son that you wanted, one that you could and should be very proud of. He won't turn out like Erik, thanks to how you raised him. His mind is steady. Sure, it has a million things going through it at once, but he at least knows what he needs to do."

She said and Peter looked at Rebel as he raised his eyebrows at her. "I could stop him, but I'm not going to. That is, what truly drove Erik, away from the X-Men." She said.

"I'm not afraid of him." Peter said as Pac Man finished and Rebel lowered her head slightly.

"You should be." Was simply all that his mother said, before putting the TV remote back down with a clattering sound, as she walked upstairs.

"Did you mean all that?" Peter asks her, as Rebel, she sat back down onto the couch with a sigh.

"Yes Peter, I meant it. But I will say this to you, because it is absolutely, a necessary thing for you to hear." She said and he raised his eyebrows as he sat down next to her.

"All right. Tell me then." He said and she looked at him, then back at his TV that was still blaring out news of Erik and Magneto's reign of terror.

"You might say that you aren't scared of him, but to face Magneto, you have to be scared of him. That fear will be a no... the difference between you livin' and you dyin'. You hear me?" She asks and he nods at her.

"Yeah, I hear you." He said and she winced at a sudden pain in her head and she nodded.

"Sorry silver, you know what that means." She said and he nodded at her, as they quickly hugged. "Let me know if you're coming to the school. I am the Director of dorm rooms." She said and he laughs at her, before Dive had quickly grabbed ahold of her and they disappeared into the water.
