Tori sat in the cushioned comfy seat as she watched the group of children run around and interact with each other. It was Dani's son Shawn's eighth birthday and Dani made sure to throw a huge party to celebrate the milestone in her firstborns life.

"Go go go go! Who's next?" Tori laughed openly as she watched the young children form a circle around a vibrantly dressed girl as she danced to the popular TikTok song. After the girl was finished, Sienna jumped in and did her own little shimmy which caused Tori to swoon at how cute her baby was.

Personally, Tori didn't care for parties, but her friend Dani loves them. Dani loves to plan out parties, pick the decorations, and invite fun people; which is what she did for Shawn. The venue was decked out in a blue and green theme with Fortnite characters everywhere. There was even a PlayStation 4 set up where a group of mostly older kids hung out, waiting for their turn to play the popular video game on the large projector.

Basically, the party was a eight year olds dream come true and Tori was impressed by the time and effort Dani put in. The caterers were making their rounds carrying around plates of lasagna, which caused Tori to stop one of them; a young Indian looking girl. She requested for a plate and the young woman handed her one.

As Tori popped open her can of Brisk Icetea, she heard a snicker and glanced to the right where a man was now occupying the seat next to her.

"Tori! Long time no see! How's your little one?" He asked in his thick Trinidadian accent which caused Tori to smirk as she gave him her attention.

"Hey Elliot! Sisi is fine. It looks like she's having the time of her life over there with Andrea." Tori greeted back as she pointed at Sienna who was dancing with Dani and Elliots five year old daughter Andrea. The pair were doing a cute little dance to some pop song that was playing overhead.

"Yeah. I hope life's good, you know?" Elliot continued as Tori took in his appearance. Elliot, Dani's baby daddy was a sight to see. He was tall,
taking up most of the space in the chair. Elliot had long dreads that were twisted to the back in two neat cornrows. He wore a gold Cuban link that complimented his dark skin and the Burberry shirt he was wearing. The many tattoos that were sprawled around his neck were exposed due to the top two buttons of his shirt being open.

"Yeah, life is as fine as it should be." Tori mumbled as she took a bite of her lasagna. It had the perfect amount of cheese and tomato sauce; Tori needed the recipe, it was just that good.

Elliot watched her while she ate before he let out another snicker, making Tori look up at him with a smile. She was comfortable around Elliot and knew he wouldn't try to hit on her. They knew each other since the high school days when Elliot would chase Dani everywhere trying to be her boyfriend. Since Tori and Dani were best friends, Elliot was always in their circle.

Elliot has an average honest job; he owned Lightning Electrician, which is also where he worked. His company had the best electricians in the upper east, which brought him a lot of money when big businesses needed their electrical problems fixed.

"That's a nice chain you're wearing, gal." Elliot spoke up referring to Tori's diamond chain. The iced out Cuban was attached to a pendant that spelled out Tori's name in separate, iced out letters. The chain was quite costly, but Tori loves the compliments she received anytime she wore it.

"Thanks Ell." Tori responded back referring to him by his nickname. There was a comfortable silence between the two as Elliot used his phone and Tori ate, keeping her eyes on her daughter. She didn't want any of the rough children to accidentally hurt Sienna.

"Elliot! Bwoy come tell this Dj to play some dancehall!" An older women called out catching both Tori and Elliots attention. Tori looked up at the women who was giving her an evil eye, which caused Tori to flick her hands towards the elder.
