Some Kind of Parenting

'............Burnette.He should call  Burnette,she would know what to do.'That was the first thing Kukui could think to do.He didn't know how to react to this sort of behavior,but with his wife by his side it would sure be a heck of a lot easier.So he quickly reached into his pocket to grab his phone and clicked on her contact.After a few seconds of the phone ringing his wifes face appeared on the screen."Hi honey, what's up?",she said in her usual happy tone,but the smile on her face slowly melted into a concerned expression after she saw the worry plastered all over her husbands face."Dear,what's wrong?",She added also beginning to worry."Burnett,I need you to come home,something is wrong with the children ,they're acting strange ."Kukui said urgently."Strange like what?",she asked."Well...strange like that,..."and he turned the camera over to reveal ash still covered in paint and crawling over to the professor's leg and looking up at him and the camera with his big blue eyes.

Burnett's face could only be described as full on shocked,before she collected as much of herself as she could and slowly said,"What happened here?".Ash heard this, and apparently recognized the professor's voice because he reached up his hands motioning towards the phone while babbling happily,which in a weird way, actually looked adorable to Kukui,but he quickly brushed that aside when Burnett started to paincing."What happened to him!,why is he covered in paint!,why are his eyes blue!,why is he crawling!,and where is Gladion!!!!","Okay ,okay,calm down,I'm freaking out too.And about that last one..Gladion is umm.......in a situation..",as he remembered how he would have to go and comfort the boy when he hung up."But that's not the main task at hand right now,I need you to come home,and help me here so we can sort out this mess.".And after a few minutes she calmed down and said she was on her way.So once the call was ended,Kukui looked at ash and saw him staring curiously at him,but just as the professor was about to tend to him ,he heard the sound of low crying from upstairs,and remembered He had to do something to calm Gladion down.But just as the professor was walking to the stairs he felt a tug on the bottom of his pants,and when he looked around he saw ash still looking at him with his grabby hands reaching out to him.

"Up,up!",Ash called to him,and Kukui had to resist the urge to smile as he gave in and lifted the boy of of the ground and started up the stairs,with Pikachu and Lycanroc close behind.'I guess it wouldn't be bad to have both the boys in sight.',he thought to himself as he made his way to the living room to find a crying Gladion still on the couch ,clutching his blanket tightly with one hand and reaching out for the professor with the other."Oh goodness,Gladion are you okay ",Kukui said as he carefully  put Ash down on the floor and then quickly rushed to him.

As soon as the Professor was in arms reach,Gladion pulled on his jacket,causing him to land sitting on the couch facing him.the boy then crawled  forward a little to reach Kukui's lap and a flash appeared,and lets just say Kukui had another thing coming to him.................

~ Gladion's P.O.V ~

I was really upset because something loud made me jump and I woke up,but then this man saw me and asked me about my eyes,(I'm still not sure what that's supposed to be),but then he heard something and went away.I was alone again and I didn't like it,it was really dark and scary,and I heard more yelling downstairs,so I started to cry again.I don't like being alone.

 When he came back I started to feel kinda weird.But I just wanted to be with someone so I went up to his lap,but when I did there was a flash ,and then everything went black............

~ Ash's point of view ~

I was having a lot of fun with my colors,but then Pikachu came closer to me and I wanted to touch it,so I reached out for it and it went in my lap.Then my hat fell on it's head and I started to laugh,but I think some one heard me because then this guy came downstairs,and for some reason I feel like I know him.But when he saw me he started to yell,but I didn't feel like listening so I just stuck my tongue out at him.Then he got nervous and called someone,and I got the same feeling that i knew them when i heard their voice,so I got closer and reached up for them because I wanted to see them but then the guy started to calm them down after they were yelling,so I just stared at him.Once he was done with the phone ,he started to go upstairs,but I really wanted to be with him so I tugged on his pants and told him to bring me up.

One we went upstairs he put me on the floor and he went to the couch were this other boy was crying,and then I started to feel weird so I tried to crawl over to the man,but just before I reached him there was a flash and then the world went black..........
