I looked in the mirror at my new outfit. It was a simple peasant boy's outfit. I wore brown polyester knee-length trousers, with well-worn brown shoes. I wore one of Jackson's white shirts, which was extremely loose on me, with a vest top underneath that. I tucked most of my hair underneath a brown cap, but frowned. Something... Just didn't look right. It wasn't worn enough.

"Hm." With that, I ripped several holes in the trousers and shirt making them look threadbare. I tucked the letter in my back pocket, and then headed out of my room. The maids didn't say a thing as I passed; they knew that I liked to head out dressed like this sometimes.

I ran down to the stable after giving my Uncle a kiss goodbye. Jackson stood there in an outfit similar to mine. He held the reigns to our horses, smirking at me. He bowed respectfully to me. "Jackson." I greeted.

"M'lady." He chuckled as I hoisted myself up onto the saddled back of the horse. I took the reigns from him and waited patiently as he got himself saddled as well. It wasn't that long before we took off, heading to the Phantomhive estate. "M'lady, try not to trip or mess up... And keep your hat on." I frowned at him.

"Jackson," I spoke over the winds that brushed our faces, "I am not that clumsy." He merely chuckled.

"I dare say you are, M'lady." With a soft chuckle, I pulled on my mare's reigns, slowing her to a canter. Jackson slowed beside me as we approached the estate. "I'll wait out here with the horses, M'lady." I nodded at him, pulling my Mare to a stop and handing him the reigns before jumping off and running into the estate, up to the Manor.

I had to say it was impressive. The Manor stood proud, kept neat and clean. I spotted two males watching me from a window upstairs as I approached the Manor. I kept my head down, pulling my hat to cover my face.

I knocked the door and waited a couple of moments before it was opened.

"Good afternoon, welcome to the Phantomhive Estate. May I ask who you are and why you are here, young sir?" There was a Butler, formally dressed. His silver hair was pushed back and his moustache neatly combed. I raised my head a bit, hoping my voice came out right.

"Just came to deliver summat." I mumbled, digging the letter from my back pocket. I held it out to him, "S'from some posh girl, yanno. Said she wanted it delivered to the Phantomhives." The Butler frowned down at me.

"I see... Thank you for that then..." Gently he took the letter from my hand. I smirked, turning around to leave.  I skipped down the steps and began running to the entrance of the Estate. Only seconds later, I found myself on the floor, groaning.

"What..." I murmured, picking myself up. I frowned, seeing an undone shoe lace. Then, I saw my hat a few yards away from me. My hair fell down my back, as it was undone. "Crap..." I muttered, under my breath. Jackson's shirt was torn from my fall onto the gravel, and I think I had a wound on my arm. Breathing in, I picked myself up as I heard footsteps coming fast towards me. Taking off my shoes and grabbing my hat, I pelted it out of the gates, not looking back. I put my cap back on once I was saddled on my horse, and tucked my shoes into one of the pockets on my mare's saddle.

"Wait!" I heard Ciel calling. "Rose!"

"Ah... Ciel." I muttered. I frowned, turning my mare around as we began our journey back.

I reached the gates of my family's Manor too late, seeing the horses speeding down the road that lead up to the estate. I frowned. Why would Rose run away like that? Why was she even dressed like that, delivering her own messages?
