(Milos house above)"What just happened." The words came out of her mouth almost like she didn't want to actually know.
"It was just some people coming by, you know robbers, it happens a lot when you live in a big house like this," Romeo slyly lied. He had gotten used to having to lie, and so by now no one could tell if he was lying or not.
"Oh okay, wait where did Milo go." Even though Evelyn doesn't like Milo, she was still worried.
"I think he went upstairs to take a shower," Romeo answered, walking away, to his room. Evelyn toke her chance and went exploring around the house, giving herself a tour.
She walked throughout the kitchen, living room, office, and a few extra bedrooms, before making her way upstairs.
Once she has made it to the top of the stairs, she could turn either way, and either sides would have a long hallway. On both hallways had around three doors on each wall.
Evelyn walked around finding which rooms were bedrooms and which ones were bathrooms. On the end of the left hallway she knocked, hearing a "come in".
"Hey, sorry I was giving myself a tour," she apologized.
"Oh it's okay cupcake, come, come," Romeo Replied, smiling brightly.
"Umm, sure," Evelyn hesitantly walked over to his bed, plopping down beside him.
"So, you like the house," He ask, still with a bright smile.
"Of course, how could I not. It's so beautiful and some how so clean," Evelyn replied, her own grin coming up from somewhere hidden beneath.
"Well there are two house keepers, they make sure it's nice and tidy for us, to come home to." He said it like it was just normal.
"Okay I thought y'all were rich but that just made you all even more rich." Evelyn laughed but had something on her mind.
"When I was looking around I noticed one bedroom. It was decorated for a toddler, what's up with that," She questioned.
"Oh that one is simple, Milos little brother." This came as a surprise to Evelyn , she had no clue about Milo having a brother.
"He has a brother?"
"Yes ma'am, his name is Blake and he is only six years old. Blake is a mess," He laughed out.
"I bet so, I have a little sister, Trina, she is four so I can sorta relate, she would love you."
"I guess I'll just have to meet her soon then," Romeo leaned closer to Evelyn.
Her breath hitched, but Romeo stopped when his door creaked open. "What did I just walk in on," Milo asked.
Milo walked in without a shirt on and some grey sweatpants hanging lowly around his waist. "Nothing," Evelyn answered quickly.
"Didn't look like nothing." Milos brow went up and he gave a look in Romeos direction.
"I'll just be in the kitchen," Evelyn pipped in, walking towards the door. Right before she grabbed the handle; Milo stepped in front of it, blocking the door.
"What the heck Milo."
"No you're not going anywhere, not without me," He left no room for discussion.
"Fine," She pouted. "Well what are you waiting for, let's go, I'm thirty."
Milo opened the door and walked towards the stairs. "I'll be right back, meet in the kitchen."
"Okay," Evelyn replied, going on her own to the kitchen.
Once she was in the kitchen she had grabbed a cold water bottle, and jumped up. Sitting down on the counter near the sink, pulling out her phone.
Than it hit her, her parents. They were probably worried sick and she hadn't told them anything still.
She clicked the call button and raised her phone to her ear. But it went straight to voicemail , "Mom I'm at a friends, I'm safe I promise, call me when you get this please." Evelyn ended the call and laid her phone down beside her, waiting for Milo.
"Who is that, bubba." Milo has Blake by the hand , walking him into the kitchen.
"This is Evelyn, we met at school," Milo told him, picking Blake up and sitting him on the counter, next to Evelyn.
Blake reaches up and whispered into Evelyns ear "Hey Eve, are you his girlfriend?"
Evelyn turned and whispered back to him, "He wishes," they both started laughing.
"What are y'all laughing about," Milo pointed his finger at the two and walked towards them slowly.
Evelyn looked at Blake, jumped down off the counter, and quickly grabbed Blake, before running away from Milo.
"Hey, y'all come back here now," Milo shouted, starting to run after them.
The two ran out the front door and around the house to the back yard. "There," Evelyn said, pointing towards the tree house.
"Hurry, climb on." Blake climbed onto her back, and she scurried up the ladder, locking the door when they got in.
"Where did y'all go," Milo shouted, while the Evelyn and Blake watched him through the window.
"Wait, I know what to do," Milo whispered to himself.
"What is he doing," Blake asked.
"Not sure buddy," Evelyn replied.
They waited a few seconds and than their question was answered. "The house keeper just made cookies," Milo said, walking back around the house.
"Okay I think it's safe, let's go sneak some of those cookies," Thats when they headed out of the tree house and went towards the front door. When they went to open it , the door was locked.
Evelyn turned around and right there, stood the so called scary Milo Woods. "How could you let her fall for that," Milo laughed.
"Wait y'all were teamed up on me," She mumbled.
"What was that sweetheart," The boys started laughing.
"What is up with all these nicknames," She asked.
The three heard the door open and Saw Romeo come running our. "I heard shouting, what did I miss," He said sorta panicked.
Milo looked over at Evelyn, and she somehow got the memo, and ran inside with him and Blake, locking Romeo out.
The three started to laugh when he started pounding on the door, "Not funny, let me in," Romeo shouted.
"Let's go make some cookies," Evelyn chirped. "What you made me want some."
The boys shrugged and let Romeo in, then following Evelyn into the kitchen.
