James tell's me he's going to the market. Mackenna follows him. That leaves me and Matt.

"That was pretty cool, what we did out there." Matt finally says. We're sitting on a bench looking out into the meadow. The sun is shining down on the long grass.

"Ya. It still amazes me, the things we're able to do." I say, "The Cello really suites you." I smile.

"Like the piano's not your best friend." We laugh at that. It goes silent once again, and I'm okay with that.

"So Bri, a friend came up to me yesterday. He knows that I can play the Cello and says he has a few other friends that have similar abilities to us. He wants me and who ever I know to follow him. To come to a place where we belong." He pauses and looks to me, "What do you think?"

"What do I think?" I ask looking out again.

"Would you go? Would you leave everything behind to commit to a cause that will bring back talents and celebration?" He gets excited now. I can here it in his voice and see it in his eyes.

"Well-I- I think so. I mean, what about James and Mack?" I say.

"James would fit right in. Mackenna... she could come along too. She would put up a big fight." He smiles, "Think about it?"

"Ya I'll talk to James." I get up and sit at the piano again.

I just can't get enough. The song I play sounds like a river, and reminds me of flowers. It makes me happy inside and I smile almost the whole time I play it. Matt watches me until I finish.

"That song suites you." He says. I'm caught between telling him to stop smiling cause I can't move or to keep smiling because it makes me feel happy. I stand and pull my hair behind my ear.

He steps closer, "I've never met anyone quite like you. And I've met many people. I mean, I've got to know you on a different level than most and I've enjoyed it a lot."

He's so close now I almost fall. The only thing I can stare at is his eyes. He runs his hand through his hair, "I mean even the connection we have while we play music it's incredible. I feel so alive when you're in the room and yet so far away from you and I just-"

I close the gap between us and press my lips to his.

"Ya I guess that would sum it up." He says when we break. We both laugh and he takes my hand. We go to the front of his house and talk for a long time. We don't even realize when our friends come back. Mackenna looks me in the eyes and raises he eyebrows.

"Come on Gracie Valesco time to go home." Mackenna smiles.

"Alright let's go!" I say getting up. James is snapping more photos in the back.

"A used to be famous singer, who can also play piano. Bri's role model." Mack says back.

"Cool!"I start to walk away but Matthew says something.

"Think about it." We make eye contact and that says it all for us.

James walks straight to his room and into the shower when we get home. It's about 6:00 so I decide to make some Ramen noodles. As I'm sitting down to eat, James comes out in some Jeans and a fitted navy shirt. His hair is left as it is, though slightly brushed.

"Where are you heading and with who?" I smile.

"Oh uh, I'm going out tonight." He says quick. He looks in the mirror and combs through his hair some more.

"James." He looks in my direction, "You look great." He smiles back then walks out the door. I quickly grab my phone just to confirm my suspisions.

Me: Wanna come over for a bit?

Mackenna: Ummm...sorry have some plans tonight

And that's that.
