I come to you all with a brand-new fanfiction while completely neglecting all my other WIPs. I'm sorry. I wish I wasn't like this, but I am.

Also, please be aware that this is an ot7 story. That means polygamy. The focus as far as the relationships go will mainly be on yoonmin, for reasons that will be made clear soon enough, which is why I also tagged this story as yoonmin. However, if you came here for fluff or romance or smut, get out. (Kidding, kidding. I'd love it if you read the story anyway. But seriously, the story won't have any of that stuff.) I haven't planned very far ahead of what I've already written (16 chapters, give or take), but I know there will be no smut. And as I am not trying to romanticise any of the subjects listed in the trigger warning above, there won't be much romance, either. This story is about a man trying to navigate a familiar world with new limitations. He has to learn to trust again, and it will take time. So there won't be any real romance for a good long while.
I am writing this story from scratch as a Caucasian American AFAB non-binary loser who has never been in a relationship, and therefore, I cannot accurately attest to the emotions of a successful Korean male idol in a poly relationship with six other successful Korean male idols. I have also never been kidnapped, so I can't write from experience. I'm working through some repressed memories from my early childhood, though, so I'll keep y'all posted if I start writing abuse based on what I've been through. 😅 All of this is to say, I will try to be as medically accurate and emotionally/culturally sensitive as I can, but I will make mistakes. I thank you all in advance for the grace you will give me.
One more thing: the chapters are sometimes out of order. No matter how many times I rearrange my table of contents, they won't stay where I put them. I don't know how it happened. So as you read, please double-check the chapter titles as you read so you won't be confused.
