No nights"Oh? Ang aga mo ah?" ate Anna said nang parehas kaming nagulat sa isa't isa pagkatapos kong buksan ang pinto ng suite ko. I guess, she is about to knock pa lang.
I have finished dressing up too early this morning. Unlike our usual dawn routine na kakatok siya at hihintayin niya pa akong mag-ayos, now I am completely done and very ready to work.
I closed the door behind me at hinarap na siya.
"Yeah. Good morning," I am a bit shocked with the hidden cheerfulness of my own voice.
"Good mor... ning."
Gulat ang mukha niya but I just let her be.
I'm admitting that I didn't sleep easily again last dim, but I indeed have the peace and calm raging thoughts while dropping off myself in bed. Maybe Vince's presence and our moment had done something about it.
I am half-way on my steps nang marahan akong hinawakan ni ate Anna sa siko para pigilan.
"Blooming na blooming ah? Date before work? Or after? Maybe... while?" nakangising tanong niya pagkatapos akong pasadahan ng tingin.
I scanned myself too. With my half-curled long hair in high ponytail and Maybelline Matte SIL in Pioneer shade, I am wearing a red off-shoulder bodycon dress paired with my black strappy heels and leather Christian Louboutin shoulder bag. I feel so classy and intriguing today.
Nang i-angat ko ang aking tingin sa kapatid, she softly caress my cheek with her typical examining eyes.
"Ate... "
"Hmmm... mukhang may pinaghahandaan bukod sa trabaho."
I don't what to think again and again and again for the only reason of this vivacious and vibrant day of mine. Baka buong araw pa akong gambalain sa pag-iisip no'n.
"Let's go, I am hungry na," sabi ko, ignoring what she said.
I walk through the hallway habang nakasunod siya sa akin at patuloy pa rin sa panunuya niya.
"What's up for today, my sophisticated sister?" nilingon ko siya at nakitang naka-ngising aso pa rin ito.
Nagtaas ako ng kilay, "Wala, ate."
We finally stopped from walking, then I hit the elevator's button. Nanatili kaming nakatayo sa harap nito, waiting for its arrival on this floor.
"Wala? Care to explain the plastered genuine smile on your face?"
Ate Anna crossed her arms while I pushed my eyebrows together and pouted, pinipigilan ang kung ano mang napansin niya.
"Nothing," sabi ko at iniwas ang tingin sa kaniya.
Wala lang. Wala lang dahil hindi ko rin alam ang main reason why I am too prepared for this another day. —Maybe, its really the ethereal nerve when you felt like... inspired.
Talaga, Inna? Inspired? In just one dim, one talk and one moment, you have already given up your hope into expectation?
I sighed. I know that last night is the first time after those years and also, maybe the last time for the following dims. If I went there again later, it would not be wrong. I am always there every dim to wait for the moon, after all.
