"Actually, you're not," James said from behind me.
I rolled my eyes hearing gasps. "What are you on-what the fuck?!" I shrieked.
I turned around to see James. Bloody. Potter. Kneeling on the ground with a red velvet box opened to an absolutely gorgeous ring with...
"Are those clear diamonds?!" I screeched, a hand on my chest.
James closed his mouth and then opened it again, only to laugh. "Jesus, Aves. Let me finish," he laughed. "But yes. They are." He winked at me.
Oh my god. He was proposing. Oh my god. He was...Oh my god. I have clear diamonds. Oh my god, he's proposing.
"Aves, I like you. Like a lot. From your blonde hair and your starling blue eyes to your cold heart and-"
I lowered my hand from my mouth. Did he just say cold heart. "I do not have a cold heart!" I defended myself.
James sighed. "Just let me finish, will you?" he begged.
"Sorry," I said, blushing. Jesus, Eva! Shut up, will you?!
"I-you-I promised to make you a part of my family and I've been waiting to say this all through the last three months but," he took in a deep breath. "Will you marry me...?" he proposed.
By then, one tear had made its way down my cheekbones. "What do you think?!" I shrieked. "Yes! Yes, yes, yes!" I ran into his arms.
James kissed me deeply and I responded.
"EW! EVA! JAMES! STOP!" Lily yelped with Albus.
That was when everyone broke out cheering. Cheering for us. For us. I was getting married!
I smiled against my boyfrie-fiance's lips. "I love you, you moron," I sighed breathily.
James slipped on the ring on my finger. "Yeah but I'm your moron. Who happens to know what his girl's favourite gem is," he added cheekily.
I leaned up and kissed him again. "Yeah. Yeah, you do," I giggled.
I giggled. Salazar. This boy was making me change.
But I liked it. Better than spitting out pure-blood profanities, anyways.
Heyyyyy. One more chapter and this is done...:(
