"I'm keeping him and there's nothing you can do about it"
After taking home the little boy in her arms and cleaning him, [Y/n] found out he recently became an orphan due to the death of his grandparents. His parents left him as a baby, and that's when his grandparents took responsibility and looked after him. Sadly, he didn't have relatives nor friends and didn't have any place to stay and that sparked [Y/n] to gaze at her father with a gleam in her [E/c] hues.
"Dad, can we please let him stay here!?"
"I don't know, dear..." [F/n] put a hand on his chin, feigning skepticism that made [Y/n] dramatically drop dead while kneeling, stunning her father.
"PLEASE! "
"Geez, calm down! I was just joking," He panicked, frantically flailing his arms when he also saw the young child's facial expression drop. "You can stay here as long as you like.. Er.."
"Kiseki, sir, but my grandparents used to call me Kise."
[Y/n]'s father slightly fussed over being addressed as 'sir', reassuring Kiseki that it was unnecessary for such pronouns. Still, [F/n] was quite hesitant on letting him. He already just barely have enough money for him and son, but putting Kiseki on his care would surely make him go bankrupt.
When [Y/n] turned into a villain two years ago and disappeared, the [L/n] family was then heavily criticized and hated by the whole prefecture. Their family was known to be a villain maker, seeing as [F/n]'s wife used to be a former villain, and now [Y/n]. They were outcasted by everyone and everywhere, meaning when the news got out, [F/n] got fired from his job as a detective while Rui got bullied having a villain infested family.
Now, at Hosu, he managed to save up plenty of money as a cashier at day, and a bartender at night to afford a house and food. But that doesn't mean he can just carelessly adopt another child and let him stay here!
"[Y/n]... Just because I'll let him stay here for a couple of days, doesn't mean we're keeping him. You don't know this, but we don't even have enough to buy that much food right now, let alone new clothes."
[Y/n] hung her head low with a depressed aura, predicting this outcome, but she wasn't going to give up now. "Fine, what if I keep him instead?" She said as if it was the easiest thing in the world. Flabbergasted, [F/n] asked if she can handle that much responsibility.
"Well, I can't let Kise-kun go now, can I? "
She went up to him and rubbed his now clean cheek before lovingly patted his head. If Rui was being honest, he was kind of jealous from the attention she was giving Kiseki, but he pushed that gut-wrenching aside and smiled.
"Guess you have another brat on your hands now, huh, Nee-chan?"
"At least he's not as much of a brat like you, little spider."
"Oi!"

Spending a few days with her family and Kiseki was sure entertaining. It took a while but Kiseki blended in well with the family, but he was especially attached to [Y/n]. Wherever she goes, he follows. You wouldn't see her without Kiseki a few meters away from her. He was just like a baby duckling following his mother which, in a way, kind of true.
"Hey, dad, I'm gonna go take a walk outside! And I'm taking Kise with me!" [Y/n] yelled from the front door, wearing casual clothing with a few pocket knives hidden in her jacket and boots. Just in case. Kiseki was beside her, hugging her leg tightly wearing a white long sleeve that reached past his hands, brown cardigans with red sneakers. All borrowed from Rui.
"Are you sure you guys will be fine?" Her father voiced out, worry etched on his face. You laughed, assuring him that everything will be fine because you've already lived two years surrounded by villains, thugs, and cops.
And so, off she went with Rui, hand in hand. [Y/n] cooed at how adorable Kiseki looked, heavily flustering him and hiding his red face.
"Aw, you're so adorable, Kise!"
"N-Nee-san, please stop it..." His quiet muffles of protests made look even cuter, his big doe eyes hidden by the sleeves.
"C'mon, let's keep walking, my little miracle." Kiseki blushed from the nickname, asking her why she called him that. "Kiseki means 'miracle', and I think that getting to meet you was a great miracle! And I just couldn't resist calling you that. You're quite a miracle to me, you know that?"
When she finished, she found the seven-year-old boy in tears, making her tense up and immediately crouch while lovingly stroking his soft strawberry blond hair.
"Shhh, what's wrong, baby?" He buried his face on the crook of her neck, paying no mind to the tears that stained her now wet neck. The sky held no stars or clouds, just darkness. The sidewalk was occupied by adults who just got off their job, or high school students hanging out with their friends or lovers.
[Y/n] embraced Kiseki, watching as his loud sobbing gradually turned to quiet whimpers. "I-I'm just so," He sniffled, wiping snot from his nose. "Happy that you're w-with me... Even if you're not actually my m-mother or sister..." He ended with a sad genuine smile. Even though he couldn't see it, [Y/n] was grinning ear to ear from his heartfelt words and tightly embraced him once more before letting him go.
"Too bad, because from now on, I'm both your mother AND your sister!" [Y/n] hoisted him up to her shoulders, careful as to not let him fall while he laughed in glee, happy that he had a new family now.
For the next two hours, the both enjoyed the night by playing a couple of games, eating, and getting to know each other.
All was well until [Y/n] heard a distant explosion and familiar screeches of a certain bird-brain.
N-Nomus!? Then that means...
Tomura..!
yaaaaaaaall sh!ts about to go down!!
Here's some moments with Kiseki for now
Pic above is how I imagine Kiseki but replace the hair with strawberry blond and faded green eyes
