As the match went on, Makoto drifted in the direction of Karasuno's cheering section. When she arrived, she was accosted by Yachi who was happy to have her back and also confused as to how she was back.

"Who? What? Where? When? Why? How?" Yachi questioned as she shook Makoto, genuinely confused as to how she was here.

Makoto chuckled softly, greeting Yachi and whoever was nearby. "You see,"

"Oi, bitch." Akihiro muttered as he shook the female awake. "Get up."

She stirred slightly, scrunching her eyebrows together in annoyance. "Two more hours please."

"If you don't get up, you'll miss your flight." Kichiro said as he watched the girl stir slightly.

When the word 'flight' set into her mind, her eyes shot open as she jolted up from her futon. Everyone chuckled, staring at Makoto who had crazy bed hair.

"Excuse me, did you say flight?"

Kichiro nodded with a chuckle, pointing at her belongings that were already packed and sitting beside the door. "Yup. You have an hour and a half before your flight boards."

Her eyes widened like saucers as she scrambled out of her futon, barreling up the stairs to get to the bathroom. She was quick to brush her teeth, wash her face and shower.

When she came down the stairs, she wore some black jeans with a black long sleeve that complimented her hair that returned to black.

"Get in, losers. We're going shopping." Haru, Takumi's older brother, quoted in high-pitched voice as he gently tapped the outside of his door.

Makoto got in the car, noticing her luggage sitting the trunk already. Kichiro sat beside her in the backseat while Takumi sat in the front. The other boys followed behind in a different car driven by Makoto's father.

"What's with the sudden flight?" Makoto asked, realizing that she never questioned this surprise trip. "Are we going to Hawaii or something?"

Kichiro shook his head with a chuckle before sighing softly. "We woke up early last night and talked to your dad." He started, making Makoto's eyebrows slightly rise. "It was pretty selfish to bring you back to Okinawa without asking. We should've asked if you wanted to come back."

Makoto nodded, encouraging the male to go on. He stumbled over his words for a moment before he regained his composure.

"All of us made the decision to send you back to Miyagi." Kichiro said with an earnest look on his face. "For good."

"If that's what you want." Takumi added, making sure that Makoto was all for the idea before they shipped her off to Miyagi unwillingly. "It's your decision."

"You guys are..." Makoto trailed off for a moment, trying to find the correct word to describe them. "The absolute greatest friends a person could ever have."

Kichiro smiled, pressing his lips to her cheek lightly. When he pulled away, he chuckled at her surprised expression. "Gotta steal a kiss before you leave me forever."

"Oh, don't be stupid." Makoto chuckled as she gently punched Kichiro in the chest. "I'll always come back to visit."

"Bring that boyfriend of yours too. I wanna meet him for real this time." Takumi grumbled with a small huff. It was his fault that he never officially met Tsukishima anyway.

"He's not my boyfriend. Calm down." Makoto retorted with a roll of the eyes.

"Your expression betrays you, babe." Takumi eyed through the mirror to see the blush that crept up her neck. "Do your best then, Makoto."

With a long talk with the entire Takahano boy's volleyball team and her father, Makoto was sent on her way with her luggage in hand.

With one last look at her twelve best friends and her father, she smiled and waved, pivoting on her heels to board the plane.

"I'm not crying. The fuck."

"S-Shut up."

"WHO THE HELL IS CUTTING ONIONS AT 6AM?!?"

"I'm going on the car, so I can cry my eyes out without being judged."

"C-Count us in too."

"And that's pretty much it." Makoto smiled cheekily at the group who looked ecstatic to have her back. It wasn't long before she was engulfed in a hug by Saeko.

"Welcome back, kiddo!" She exclaimed happily, unintentionally smearing her boobs in Makoto's face.

"Thanks, Nee-san." Makoto chuckled as she wrapped an arm around Saeko to hug her back. Once she was let go, she was greeted by a familiar face. "Ah, Akiteru-kun, right?"

Akiteru smiled with relief. "You remember me. What a relief!" Akiteru said as he gently pulled the girl into a hug, slightly recalling his brother's words from the other night. Kei will be happy to see her later.

"So you're staying in Miyagi for good?" Yachi questioned, raising her eyebrows at Makoto who ran a hand through her tousled hair.

"Yup." She popped the 'p' with a small grin. "I'm not going anywhere anymore."

Turning back to the match, Makoto began to cheer loudly for Karasuno again.

As she watched the males play their hardest, she felt her heart warm. The sight of these males doing their absolute best against Shiratorizawa left her platonically enamored.

She couldn't fight the small smile that graced her lips as she watched them work together to bring Shiratorizawa down.

In this moment, she knew exactly why she loved Miyagi.

It was because of these twelve idiots that had lightened up her life unintentionally.
