Pinili ko yung royalty dress na binili ko pa sa Europe kamakailan lang. Itoy tube at above the knee pero mas mahaba sa likod. Naglagay rin ako ng light make up at blood orange na lipstick at nadepina ang aking kaputian. Curly updo princess braid ang ginawa kong style sa aking buhok. Pagkatapos mag-ayos ng sarili dumiretso na ako pababa ng lobby. Ganoon na lamang ang pagkagulat. Nakahilera ang mga tao at inaabangan ang pagdating ko. Dumapo agad ang tingin ko kay Daddy na may ngiti sa kanyang labi kasama nito ang fiance na halatang peke ang ngiti- kasama si Betty na nakasimangot at walang emosyong si Cash.

"Here she is, Summer Anastasia Powell my beautiful daughter!" Nagpalakpakan ang lahat. Nakita ko rin sila Lee, Mia at Jeffrey at iba pang staff ng hotel." Last year you left Lucky shores to go on a journey and find yourself. And we are so thrilled to see the woman you have become. I am so proud of you." Pinunasan ko ang luha na pumatak sa aking mata.

"Yaaaas queen! We love you Summer." Sigaw ni Lee. At itinaas ang kanyang baso

Everyone clapped again. Kita ko na nagkakasiyahan na sila. They were happy that I am here. I'm thankful of my dad.

"Please enjoy the party!drinks on the house." Nilapitan ko si Dad pagkatapos nya magsalita.

"Dad I can't believe you did this all for me."

"Anything for my daughter. Bonnie, Larry and other staff helped with all technicalities." At liningon nito ang fake nitong fiance

"You can thank Donna. Sya ang nag-suggest nito."

"I love celebrating things! I believe parties can heal the world." Pinagsiklop nito ang kanyang kamay na tila bata. Eww.

Hindi ko ito pinansin at nagpaalam sa kanila, tumungo ako kina Lee at ngayo'y sa tingin ko ang dami na nitong ininom. My dad said this hotel is my home and one day, I might just end up running this place. That could be exciting.

"Here is the star of evening. Look at that dress!" Nag-bow ako sa kanila na parang isang maharlika.

"You're literally so bomb-dot-com right now! You look gorgeous." That's why I love Lee he appreciates little things about me.

Nagpapicture kami sa photographer at hindi namin ito tinantanan. Naka-ilang shots ito. Niyaya kong uminom si Mia ngunit mariin syang tumanggi. Napansin kong suot pa nito ang uniporme.

"I am working. Come on Summer this is your party."

Kumuha ulit ng drinks si Lee sa kakasalin lang ni Mia. Tinungga nya ito na parang tubig.

"Do you have a soft drink?" Halos mabulunan si Lee sa sinabi ko, muntik narin mabitawan ni Mia ang mga drinks.

"Tama ba ang narinig ko? Where is our party girl? Did you forget to bring her back from Europe?"

I need an excuse. No drinking for clear skin? Awfully not.

"No silly! I'm still a bit jet-lagged. I don't feel like drinking tonight."

Naniwala naman agad sila sa alibi ko. Nagpaalam narin ako sa kanila para magpahangin muna. Nawala bigla ang ngiti sa aking labi ng makasalubong ko si Tiana- she look drunk based on her face namumula na ito. At may hawak pang beer.
