Pihu:-"Yesterday, at around 8:15 she has committed suicide by hanging her self to fan in bedroom."
Inaaya:-"(still in shock) What is the reason behind her death?"
Ruhi shrugs her shoulder sadly as if saying no.
Pihu:-"Remember, how we met her first time".
Ruhi:-"Chicken fried rice".
Flashback
During lunch hour at cafeteria,
Pihu:-"guyzzz! I ordered chicken fried rice."
Ruhi:-(sarcastically) "Yaa so!"
Adhya:-"Ru, see her plate, it's veg fried rice."
Inaaya:-"Pihu madam, were you day dreaming while picking up your plate."
Pihu:-(melodramatically) "I want chicken fried rice."😩
Ruhi:-"Go and ask uncle from whom you took this plate."
Pihu:-"Uncle, I ordered chicken fried rice but I got veg fried rice."
Cafeteria uncle:-"Sorry beta, I think it must have got exchanged with someone."
Inaaya:-"Pihu, you should have asked before only, now how do we find out with whom ur plate got exchanged."
Ruhi:-(seeing Pihu sulking) "Inaaya, shut up!"
Girl:-(soft voice) "Uncle, by mistake my plate got exchanged. I have ordered veg but I got chicken fried rice".
Pihu:-"Hey, it got exchanged with mine. Anyways thanks".
Inaaya:-(arrogantly) "New admission?"
Adhya:-(angrily) "Inaayaa!! (turning towards the girl) What is your name? which department are you from?"
Girl:- (in a soft voice)" I am Jhanvi Joshi, I work in the administration department, which year do you guys study in?"
Ruhi:-"Hey, I am Ruhi (pointing to them) Pihu, Inaaya and that's Adhya we are doing our internship".
Adhya:-"We have seen you sitting alone a few times, why don't you join us?"
Seeing her hesitating...
Inaaya:-"I believe we should never eat alone, so why don't u join us. We wouldn't definitely bore you".
Pihu:-" Yes, you should".
Jhanvi seeing them insisting her decides to join them.
That's how they become friends,sharing meals, going out for movie,has brought them closer.
**Flashback ends**
Remembering there good times everyone,were occupied blaming themselves for her death.
Inaaya POV :
(sitting numb and not knowing how to react)
Guilt and anger is what I fell now why did she? Was she feeling so lonely that she couldn't even comes to us for sharing her pain. I am so dumb to think that even I knew her, but truth is always bitter I never knew her I have just failed to understand what her emotional state of mind was I have failed myself, I have failed her and wonder even if there was of friendship between us why did?( she tears running down her face) What has happened that she took this step?
**POV ends**
Ruhi POV :
(She gets up and goes to washroom she slides down against the wall and cries silently)
She always had a smile on her face, even though she spoke less I realize now that everything was faded.
Did she feel so unloved that she thought it was better if she just ends her life. (she cries for some time looks at herself into the mirror)
No, Ruhi you have to be strong (tears running down her face) for them you have too.
You don't have time to think why she did, you should think what about next .
(with strong determination, she walks out of bathroom masking her own pain for others)
**POV ends**
Adhya POV :
(slumps down onto a chair )
It feels so shameful, that she understood when I was not in good mood, she understood my emotions,she motivated me, she guided me the right path, she stood by my side no matter what happened, but I was not even able to differentiate if she was genuinely happy.
I made her feel so lonely that she didn't even count on me to come and share her pain. I am such a bad example for friendship or was I so involved in my own self that I choose to outlook the problems of my loved ones, was I so selfish to not understand my dear ones pain.
**POV ends**
Pihu POV :
(her hands are shaking, sweat beads on her forehead)
I am still not able to believe she died. I just hope all this turns into a bad dreadful dream but what's sad is, it's not.
She died , she committed suicide (tears filled in her eyes which are ready to spill at any moment) everything seems wrong.
Why did she take such a drastic step of ending her life ? we sat and ate our lunch together, laughing over lame joke, she could have spoke to me about her pain.
** POV ends**
Ruhi:-" guys, I am not asking you people to stop crying, because we have to cry so that we overcome these emotions. She probably didn't tell us because she didn't want to hurt us.
Whatever maybe the reason behind her death, we should not blame her or ourself , it was just the circumstances that were wrong. We have probably failed as a good friend, but we can still become one. We can't go back and change the beginning but we can always change for better."
There is silence filled in the room,everyone was trying to understand what has to be done.
Meanwhile, phone ring can be heard..
Pihu:-(with tired voice)" hello"
Opposite side:-" Pihu you should assist post mortem of Jhanvi Joshi alongside Dr.Rohit Arora".
Pihu:-" Yes, I will be in 10 mins"
***call ends ***
Inaaya:-" What happened?"
Pihu :-"I am supposed to assist Dr.Rohit in post mortem of our Jhanvi."
With that Pihu goes to washroom and washes her face, while she walks out towards the exit.
Ruhi :-"Pihu, never let your personal problems effect our professional life."
Pihu:-" hmmm, I will not."
With that Pihu walks out of the room with a new zeal.
