The appearance of a special guest

I sat in mine and Mabel's room, on my bed, reading the '3' journal in concentration. It didn't make sense to me, none of it did at the time but I tried my best to understand that this was no ordinary book-this was someone's diary. The thoughts going through my head were unreal but one thought that kept popping up and standing out to me was 'why does Stan have this diary? How did he get it?' Suddenly, I was interrupted as the book slapped me in the face. I didn't know for a about 5 seconds why but Mabel had pushed it onto my face because I wasn't listening to a word she said and she had been standing there for about 5 minutes apparently. 'I'm so sorry Mabel but I have found this extraordinary journal in Stan's room...' I was cut off by the shriek of Mabel as she said 'Stan will go mad you know better Dipper!' I explained the situation with the whole voice thing and she understands and said she would of done the same thing in my shoes.

Just as she said that, there was a knock on the bedroom door. 'Are Candy and Grenda coming over?' I said, confused as Mabel sat down on my bed. 'Nope, they are going to visit Grenda's grandfather and grandmother or something today' she said, just as confused as me. I quietly got up and slowly opened the door to find a small, smartly suited young boy with a big haircut standing with a smile on his face outside the door. 'Excuse me....errr' I started to say. 'L'il Gideon's the name my young friend' The boy joyfully explained. 'Yeah...right I don't believe I have met you before....have we?' I awkwardly asked him. 'Nope but I know you Dipper Pines and your sister Mabel! So can I come in please, pal?' The short boy, apparently named L'il Gideon, asked me putting out his hand for me to shake it. I shook his hand and let him into the room that Mabel had now tidied up. He sat down, in between the beds Mabel and I sleep in, on the floor. ' I am a psychic and have my own shows on the tv I don't know whether you have seen them but....' He was looking at me the whole time whilst saying this but when he looked over to Mabel and he completely stopped talking. He stared at her and said 'Mabel Pines! My, what beauty you have!' She grabbed her hand with both hands and kissed it. Mabel immediately took away her hand from his and awkwardly said 'Thank you bu....' She was interrupted by him putting his little sausage-like finger over her lips, as I sat there, weirded out by him kissing my sisters hand and acting all gentlemanly so I walked out of the room, leaving my sister with that creepy Gideon. I knew I shouldn't have done that now because I had just landed Mabel into something that I would regret to the day I die....wait that sounds creepy but I can assure you it's not intended to be...read on and you will know what I mean.
