I didn't realise this at the time but as soon as L'il Gideon saw Mabel, he wanted her for his own. He loved her...eww not my type of thing...well I do like Wendy but I realise she's old for me. Anyway, 30 seconds later, Mabel joined me as I was walking down the staircase and she hugged me so hard, I nearly fell down the stairs. I regained balance and Mabel let go of me, grabbed my hand and said 'I trust you and your decisions, oh brother of mine, but do you trust me and my decisions?' She was acting so weird and this came out of nowhere. 'Uhhh....yes I do why?' I replied, raising one eyebrow. 'Because I'm going out with Gideon tonight!' She replied, happily. Her eyes were an unusual blue but not the unusual blue she normally has, her hands as cold as ice and her braces a different shape. I thought I was seeing things but when I asked Wendy about it later on,she said that she saw the same differences in her. I knew something was not right...that wasn't my sister Mabel. I decided to seek the journal for advice but as I flicked through the ancient pages, nothing fit the description I was looking for. 'The only people that were in the room were me, Mabel and...Gideon!' I said out loud to myself, quietly. I suggested that he was a suspect to Mabel's suspicious behaviour but it didn't seem to add up. All the clues didn't lead to Gideon so what else could it be? I sat down at the dinner table for about an hour thinking of what else could lead to it but I couldn't find a single thing except for Mabel herself but Mabel wouldn't change her attitude unless something was up....
It was about 8pm and I was sitting with Stan, watching 'Toddler Fights' (I find it boring to be honest with you) and Mabel walked in, wearing her pink rainbow jumper with a purple skirt and usual black shoes with white socks. She wasn't wearing her usual headband but in its place was a flower crown. She looked more grown-up than usual which made me feel uncomfortable yet happy at the same time.
