A new face...?

Mabel went back upstairs and was nearly ready for her date with Gideon after she put on her lipstick and came back down the stairs. I didn't like the thought of Gideon going out with my sister as she has been acting weird since he came over yesterday. She couldn't possibly like him...could she?? Anyway, as weird as that is, she waited for Gideon to appear at the door, came over to me and sat on the floor next to me. 'Mabel...are you sure you want to do this?' I asked her as she twisted her long brown curly hair. 'Yeah! Of course! Gideon's so sweet!' Mabel told me, making me uneasy. After a while, I decided to trust Mabel's decision and just go with it, after all, she is her own person and she trusts my decisions. Just as I did this, Gideon knocked on the Mystery Shack front door and asked for Mabel so they could go. I stared at him for a bit and then called Mabel who was in the other room. 'Take care of my sister Gideon...' I said, making sure Mabel didn't hear it.

As they left, I noticed a blonde haired girl in the distance getting out of a white Ferrari car. She unusually got out the driver seat yet looked my age, which confused me. She was wearing huge black sunglasses, blue crop top with a blue skirt, boot heels and leggings with her curly blonde hair in a side pony. My eyes were so focused on her, I didn't noticed Waddles run out the door towards her. She noticed Waddles and immediately picked him up, hugging him. 'I've missed you bud!' I heard her say, as she walked towards the Mystery Shack. She let him go and sent him back my way, taking off her sunglasses, revealing her crystal blue eyes. I haven't seen her around before...at least I don't think so...have I? I was thinking so hard I didn't realise I was leaning on the doorframe and fell flat on my face with my blue pine tree hat tumbling forwards the girls feet. I looked up to see bright blue painted fingernails grab my hat as the girl crouched down, staring into my eyes. 'You ok, Dipper?' She said, giggling a little as she stood up and put her hand out to help me up. 'Yeah, haha...I'm fine...I'm sorry I don't know your name.' I replied grabbing her hand and getting up off the floor and blushing. 'Come on Dipper! You know me!' She said, laughing. I didn't want to be rude but I didn't exactly recognise her...but she knows my name. 'Uhh...oh yeah...you...haha' I said, fake laughing and rubbing my arm. 'Please! Come inside and I will get you a drink!' I said, guiding her in and slapping my face in embarrassment. 'Come on Dipper get it together !' I whispered to myself as she walked past.

I got the girl a glass of milk as she took her coat off and I sat at the table with her. 'If you don't recognise me, that's fine. I get it a lot of the time. I look so different from when I was a kid!' She said, sitting down and taking a sip of milk. 'I don't want to be rude but...what's your name? I bet I will remember that way...haha...' I said, really awkwardly. She was about to speak but she was interrupted by Grunkle Stan, who took the words right out of the girls mouth. 'Vilola!' He said, looking happy for once. The girl (now named Vilola) replied with 'Stanford! Long time no see!' She got up and gave him a hug and lightly punched his face. 'Vilola!' I perked up (more than I should of though). 'Yeah that's my name Dip don't wear it out!' She said, smiling. '...hey where's Mabel at?' She added, confusingly looking around the corridors. 'With that weirdo GIDeon!' I answered, rolling my eyes. 'No! No way no that's a no...does no one know how dangerous that kid is?!' Vilola panicked. 'Dipper come with me a sec!' She said as I panicked and she put her coat on. 'Sorry Stanford but I'm gonna have to go and save your great-niece from that annoying little twit!' She added, beckoning me to come with her. She opened the door, almost taking it on the hinges (maybe a bit exaggerated) as I said 'Bye Grunkle Stan!'
