I awoke to sunlight streaming in as Pamela and Ellen pulled the drapes back and tied them up. They bowed to us and I saw Pamela couldn't contain her irritation when she saw me in Vincent's arms. I smirked and clung to him tighter before turning his head towards me.
"Vincent~" I said flirtily.
"Hmm?" he questioned.
"Where's my good morning kiss~?" I questioned, brushing his messy hair back.
Vincent took notice of Pamela's angry face and I caught his small smirk. He gripped me firmly before kissing me deeply, I couldn't control the slight moan that slipped out. He pinned my arms down the headboard of the bed, before pulling away and sucking a dark bruise into my shoulder. He realised me with a cheeky grin and I blushed darkly. Dumby, who said you had to give me that kind of kiss....
"Did that please you my dear?" he taunted.
I was about to speak up before there was a crash, and I turned to realize Pamela had dropped a porcelain wash bowl, and her face was absolutely furious. Ellen immediately began picking up pieces of the broken china.
"Pamela! This is fine china, it's worth more than you and me combined!" she scolded.
"I- didn't mean to..." Pamela quivered fearfully.
Vincent glared disapprovingly at her, "Leave and go wait at the carriage. I have no use for a pitiful sight like you." he said harshly.
Teas brimmed in Pamela's eyes and she dashed off, nearly as soon as she was gone Ellen giggled. I also found myself laughing.
"How was my acting darling?" Vincent smiled.
"Very good, keep it up and I'll give you a reward later." I was encouraged.
"Oh really? That wouldn't happen to be a new addition to the manor would it now?" Vincent questioned.
"And have two brats running around? No thank you." I rose slightly from the bed before having a seat at my mirror and letting Ellen comb out my hair.
I could help but notice a small but pretty lapel bin on her main gown. It seemed new, and though small appeared quite expensive.
"Ellen where did you find such a pin?" I questioned.
Ellen's face flushed pink and she avoided my gaze, "It was a gift miss...Mary gave me a package with a letter from a gentleman wishing that I got to the manor safely and this pin was attached." she admitted.
"Oh my I wonder who's trying to court my sweet little Ellen?"
Ellen was silent but I could tell she was quietly beaming, and it made me happy to see her like that. She helped my dress in a lovely light pink dress and curled my hair a bit for me before applying a light pink lip tint and blue eyeshadow. After she was done I stood up and turned to Vincent who had dressed himself. He stared at me for sometime, before a warm smile crossed his face.
"Beautiful~ Now are you ready to go take care of the rest of the items in your wardrobe. While we're out we should also get your measurements so we can commision a wedding dress for you." he decided.
I took his arm and we headed out for the carriage. Pamela was there shivering in the cold morning air, and Vincent ignored her, helping me into the carriage. He also helped Ellen in before hopping inside himself.
"My lord might I trouble you to-" Pamela began but I cut her off.
"Actually, it's a bit crowded here, why don't you sit on the back of the carriage. You look so pale I'm sure some sunlight would do you well dear." I suggested and Pamela glared daggers at me before climbing onto the back of the carriage.
