darlos approached medco. "medco, i need a favor."
"what, you want weed or something?"
darlos rubbed his head and sighed. "ugh, no."
"you sure? you look like you need it."
"yes! i'm sure." he raised his tone.
"damn chill. what you need bro?"
"listen, there's these guys tryna jump me and i need your help."
medco laughed. "who would wanna jump your small ass?"
"dj." he said and looked at the ground.
"ahhh shittt. the one who's cheating on brielle?"
"yeah. wait.... he's cheating on her??"
"well, i don't know for sure. but he probably is cause that's what he's known for. but if you need my help i got you."
"yes. i do. i can't take them by myself."
medco wrapped his hand around darlos' limp, skinny wrist and lifted it up. "yeah, clearly you can't. but i got you. i'll get my homeboys to help out too. when you tryna pull this thing off?"
"today. before last period. i think."
"ight ight. you sure about this? cause i'm not tryna get in trouble for nothing."
"we won't get in trouble. dj will swing first. that's just the way he is."
"wait wait wait a minute. why they even wanna jump you in the first place?"
"it's cause dj thinks i'm all over bri."
"HA! he's worried about bri cheating when he's prolly talking to 10 other b*tches. unless you was tryna do stuff with her...?" medco looked confused.
"no, no. bri and i just friends. that's all."
"yeah, she wouldn't want you anyways!" medco laughed. "i'm just messing wit you. but you 100% sure about this? dj's like best friends with my cousin so they be hanging out all the time. i mean you my bro, but he's blood. so i don't wanna f*ck stuff up to much."
"yes yes, i know your cousins his friend, but i'm serious about this. and it needs to happen soon."
"okay dar. i'll let my boys know. we'll leave period 7 a little bit early and meet dj outside his class. room 526. don't ask how i know."
"ummm. alright. sounds good with me."
"hey darlos, are you gonna tell brielle?"
brielle was on the other side of the hall but looked up when she heard her name.
"helllll no i'm not gonna tell her. then she'll tell dj and the plan will get messed up."
"you right you right. catch you after period 7, k?"
"yep."
the boys headed to class.

wtf were they talking about? i heard my name and darlos said he wasn't gonna tell me about something cause i would tell dj? sh*t. what's gonna happen? imma text dj.
