Fourteen weeks.

I tilt my head curiously as I turn this way and that, watching my reflection in the mirror.

My stomach doesn't show much but just enough to where you can tell my condition. I sigh as I fix my shirt and turn around.

"Happy Birthday!"

I let out a short scream at the sudden outburst. Jin jumps startled as well, his hands flailing before he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.

"Sorry.. Didn't mean to scare you." He smiles softly. I hold back a laugh.

"Thank you Oppa.. and I think I scared you more." I smirk mischievously.

He pouts and rolls his eyes as the room goes silent. Jin catches my sad gaze faced towards the floor.

"Something wrong..?"

I sigh and smile as I look back up at my brother.

"I'm still getting used to how my body is.. developing right now. I just feel.."

"Insecure?"

I give a small nod as he finishes my words. Jin smiles at me and ushers me to sit on the bed with him.

"That's normal Minseo. I know you know it is too. The both of us. We're already confident with ourselves the way we are so when we may change.. your conscious will become.. wary."

It's true. Jin and I grew up to be overly confident about ourselves. Although Jin was insecure back then and grew into it. Believe it or not, I was his influence.

I nod and smile at him as he caresses my face. He must've realized my smile did not reach my eyes since his next question was:

"But that's only part of it right? What else is bothering you?"

"Tae.." I sigh, my brother immediately stiffening at the mention.

"What did he do? Did he hurt you? Mentally? Physically?! If he touched you, I'm-"

"Oppa." I send him a stern look, immediately shutting him up. "It's more like.. what he's not doing. I woke up this morning with him not home.. without a note or anything. He never does that."

Jin's expressions eases up. "I'm sure he was just picking something up from the store and forgot to let you know."

"But.. he's been acting strange as well. I find him in his old room constantly now. Whenever I do knock on the door, he hurries to me and doesn't allow me to see inside. Then on top of that, he goes to Jimin's place often now. Whenever I ask to come along to say hi, he panics and tells me to stay and he will say hi for me. Oppa, I think he's cheating on me. Does he not find me attractive anymore with this extra weight? I can't help it.. I'm carrying his baby after all."

"That's right. You are and you know because of that, he wouldn't ever cheat on you." Jin smiles down at me and places his hand on my shoulder.

"So, he's only with me because I have his baby?" I feel my eyes starting to sting. Jin's eyes go wide as he quickly retracts his hand and shakes his head.

"No no no! I'm just saying it's even more a reason for him to love you and never leave you. Please don't misunderstand.. Maybe you two just need to talk..?"

As if on cue, I hear the front door open and close. I quickly rush out to see Taehyung slowly walking to the couch, smiling down at his phone.

"Tae?"

His gaze falls on me as I stand against the wall. His smile slowly fades and his expression panics as he shoves his phone into his pocket.

"Minseo! Shouldn't you be resting..? You stayed up late last night.."
